Sister Tacos - (Near Cooper, TX)

Mr. O After moving here from the West we tried multiple places around the BCS area. Each one has their own thing that they do well but this place does them all great. We have found our joint for good and fresh Chinese food. We ordered their noodle vegetable soup, their shrimp fried rice and pork dumplings. 2/3 were excellent choices. Starting with the dumplings, their texture, flavors and presentation were great. The Shrimp fried rice was very tasty with large shrimps and a good amount on each component big enough to feed two to three people with the amount of food provided inside the container. Now their vegetable soup needs some help on the broth department it was bland and no flavors came through. The soup presentation, the packaging and the vegetables provided were plentiful and fresh but if they get to add some flavor to the broth this would be a killer soup even without the protein. Overall we had a great experience. We ordered online and self pick up the order. The process was not without hiccups. Somehow their website was having some issues when it was time to pay reading my card number as an AMEX when it was not an AMEX and they dont take AMEX. We tried it with another card and it worked not the online ordering experience we expected but it worked after numerous times. We will be back again and bring friends it was delicious and the price fair for the amount of food you get trust me you will not leave hungry after trying their food servings. Ill post photos next time as I usually do but the hunger today was at an all time high and we devour the food way before my brain register to take pictures of the food. This was delicious and such a great experience in the BCS you just won us as customer after only one meal. Edit: 12 Jan 26 we came into the restaurant and were blown away once again by their food and service. We tried the house fried rice, pork steam buns, and the chicken cutlet all of it was prepared to ordered, fresh, very tasty and the right temperature. This place has a winning recipe. Come and see them!!!!

Dan Smith An unusual restaurant in an small town that has seen better days (the town I mean). The restaurant itself is a typical roadside type cafe and has walls full of handprints. They provide finger paint for you to leave your own handprint if you wish and I did. Look for my handprint labelled "Dan" on the right side as you enter above the second shelf. Mexican food was excellent. Because the food is good and prices extremely reasonable, I suspect lots of truckers might stop here.

A B Nice gas station and electric vehicle charging station! Lots of food options inside for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Clean bathrooms well-stocked small grocery area, friendly people.

Cal DN Miruku is hands down my favorite ice cream spot in McKinney. Whenever I think of ice cream, this place is the first that comes to mind because of the creativity and care the owners put into every flavor. Run by a talented Asian couple, they bring a unique twist to ice cream you won’t find at any chain. Their Berry Berry is one of my go-tos – fresh, fruity, and bursting with flavor. And for chocolate lovers, the Chocolate Madness is an absolute dream and worth every penny. This is the kind of place that makes you glad to support local — original creations, amazing quality, and a true hidden gem. If you’re nearby (or even if you’re not), it’s worth making the trip!

Delayna Aldrich Amazing! I stumbled on this place and wow blew me away! It was so beautiful inside and out. Loved the history behind it. Our server Tina was amazing! So friendly and walked us through the menu. Cocktails were delicious. I got the chef special, which was the salmon and it was amazing. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Very happy with my visit.
