What Clients Are Saying Sofra Breakfast and Lunch (GG)
2 /5 Areefa H: Was excited for the food because family had gone and recommended it. They went a couple months back so maybe the chef has changed?
We ordered a chicken skillet and and a chicken and waffle. The skillet was decent, more seasoning wouldve been nice though. The chicken and waffle was a small portion size in my opinion and for $18 you only got one barely seasoned chicken piece and 1 waffle which i thought was a bit expensive for the price you pay, but in their defense it also includes turkey bacon which wasnt halal so I declined it. We chose a pancake as a side for the skillet and as soon as I cut in, i realized the pancake was gummy inside, aka raw. Waiter replaced the pancake with a fresh one and it too was gummy and raw. The restaurant was quiet and not busy so we couldnt blame it on a packed restaurant. Unfortunately will not be back.
5 /5 Emily Cargile: We visited on a whim after the original breakfast place we wanted to go to was closed, but we were so impressed! The place is really nice. Everything is pretty and clean. The coffee and tea tasted great, and the food was good. Portion sizes are very reasonable. Its a little pricey compared to other places, but for the atmosphere, service, and food quality, its not bad at all. The employees were friendly. Highly recommended!
4 /5 Chetan Salian: We went in with high expectations. But some times stars don’t align
The place was deserted on a Friday morning.
We ordered the veggie omelet and the Medi skillet. Both were ok , nothing to write home about.
Service was passable
Ambience was not much.
But a decent place to grab a breakfast!
S Gordon Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. You really cannot beat the 3 for me deal. Great value and everything came out fresh and hot. There was no host up front when I arrived so it took a moment to get seated, but when someone finally came she was extremely apologetic and very friendly. From that point on the service was excellent.
In this area good service can be hit or miss since there are not many options, but Chilis definitely delivered today. Great food, great staff, and overall, a solid experience. I will definitely be back!
Jennifer Hernandez We truly enjoyed our family dinner last night at Cotton Patch in Bryan! Angie our server was amazing and the food was delicious! Towards the end of our meal Melissa came by our table and was also so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this location!
theDSsucks Driving through, stopped here for the night and ventured out to this strip and this was o e of the few places still open but it was pretty dead as they were getting ready to close. I still enjoyed my beer and my peace and quiet. It’s a big beautiful space so I imagine it can get quite noisy when full. Staff was great. Allowed me to sample a few of their other beers before settling on the Mexican lager. Enjoyed my quiet time! It also happened to be $2 beers on Tuesday so extra bonus!
Riya Mitra This is a lovely restaurant to dine in the McKinney downtown area. We went there for a late lunch while strolling around the downtown area. It is an Italian restaurant with a good menu and a selection of beverages.
My husband ordered this penne pasta with a arrabbiata sauce and I ordered chicken soup. I enjoyed the bread along with the bread dip that came with the soup.
The server was courteous and they gave us a complimentary tiramisu which tasted great. Overall, we had a good dining experience. Reservations are recommended during dinner times or peak hours. Recommended to all.
