Sols TEX MEX Cocina - (Near Clarendon, TX)

1 /5 P: I got the Chicken Flautas, and I had to force myself to finish them. The tortillas looked like fried flour tortillas instead of corn. The chips and salsa werent very good either. The bathroom was gross. It had a strong smell, it wasnt clean, and the air from the hand air drier smelled disgusting.

5 /5 jennifer grisham-rasco: First off, order the chips and salsa. Best salsa around this area. Perfect amount of hot, not too much cilantro. I had the asada taco plate. Best asada I have ever had to date. Beans and rice were really good too. The best item of the three we ordered. The cheeseburger is large and well made. My son said it was tasty. My husband had the Friday special: fried fish and shrimp. Fish was tasty and shrimp were large. The beans were perfect. But the star side was their cole slaw. (I of course had to taste everything on his plate). Place wasnt too busy. Service was very friendly and polite. Our waitress went above and beyond on everything. Reasonably priced. Not fancy on decorating but welcome to small-town Texas diners. Thats normal, all business, no fuss. They had good hours for around here. Bathrooms were clean. Sign placement leaves something to be desired. They are located across from the Lowes grocery.

5 /5 Susan Thomas: Very friendly service from the moment we walked in. I ordered the El Chapo Burrito. It was full of steak, shrimp, and rice! It was very flavorful and delicious. We will definitely make another trip from Amarillo to try more of the menu. Great small town spot! Had to come back and try a few other items! The Cheese sticks are amazing! ❤️

5 /5 Tim Fell: Absolutely awesome food! My wife had Tex-Mex Combination 1 and I had a Green Chili Cheeseburger with fries. The burger was nearly 8" in diameter-huge! The flavor reminded me of A&W burgers back in the 70s. My wife was completely satisfied with her chili relleno, soft tacos, beans and rice. All items were great but she thought the beans were striking! Finally, the salsa had perfect heat and spice! We were happy we bypassed a large town to eat at Sols.
