South Texas Seafood - (Near Brownsville, TX)

Mitch Mintz Was teetering between the VealParmesan and Lasagna. Specifically asked if the lasagna was bolognese or cut from a pan w/o looking on the site. The answer was cut from a pan, which made me think of Moms Lasagna. What was delivered was tasty but not quite what was hoping for… salad with a generous portion of dressing and a couple of buns that were perfect for sopping the spaghetti sauce. Finished off with a piece of tiramisu. Reasonable portions for the price. Enjoyed the meal.

Mr. Caceres I’ve driven by this place for years not thinking much of it. One day I decided to stop in for lunch and boy was I surprised. It’s a quaint small town bbq joint that has a nostalgic vibe of the late 90s/early 2000s which adds to its charm. I had the Tuesday special of a loaded potato; pictured below (I chose the brisket). The cost to amount of food ratio is great. And the quality of the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back

CJ Weinstein Wow. What a wonderful breakfast. So quaint and relaxing. We enjoyed the historic setting inside but they also have a huge covered outside area as well in the back. Our server was delightful. She whipped up a quick latte as the breakfast was cooked to order. We enjoyed the avacado toast and added smoked salmon and an egg. And the eggs Benedict over a crossaint. Ridiculously good! I am a tucked for eggs Benedict but this was an elevated experience over the buttery crossaint. Cant wait to go back for hand tossed pizza and sandwiches.

SUPER DAGP The food is amazing. The service is top notch. Elizabeth was kind, friendly with a big smile all the time and great recommendations. Excellent service from Oscar as well. I love this place and will return soon.

Chris Davis #47 with beef instead of chicken was so delicious. Salsa has great flavor. Ive driven by this place dozens of times in I finally stopped. Im very glad that I did. Ill be stopping here more often.
