Megan Williams ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic experience at The Wayside Pub! I recently visited with a large party, and I couldnt be more impressed. From the moment we walked in, the cozy British pub atmosphere made us feel welcome. Our server was attentive, patient, and provided top-notch service despite our group size—they handled everything seamlessly and made sure everyone was happy. Now, lets talk about those fried pickles—absolutely devoured them! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tangy and delicious on the inside. I cant recommend them enough! The Wayside Pub nails the whole experience: great food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether youre coming with a large group or just stopping by for a drink and appetizers, this place delivers. The staff clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows. If youre in Lake Jackson, this is a must-visit spot. Ill definitely be back soon!

Henry21053 Came in with my family with high expectations and boy did this restaurant deliver. A hidden gem with a beautiful and clean dining area and great service to match. I am obsessed with Creole and Cajun cuisine and this might be the best spot I have had the pleasure to visit. The coconut shrimp was hot and fresh and tasted incredible with their mango sauce. I ordered the crawfish etouffee with the vegetable medley and I didnt leave a crumb. Their dish was rich in flavor and went straight to my soul. Their vegetables are incredible. Very well seasoned. My wife had the red beans and rice with sausage and it did not disappoint. My kids, who are picky as most are, loved their meals. This restaurant is one of a kind. The chefs deserve so much praise. Thank you for serving us your delicious food and we look forward to stopping by again soon.

Madhu Sudan Visited Spitz Mediterranean in Frisco and tried two items –> the Street Cart Fries (regular, no protein – $11) and the Chicken Tikka Bowl ($14.50). Both dishes were really satisfying in their own ways. The fries were the star of the meal for me -> thin, perfectly crispy, and topped with just the right blend of flavors that made each bite addictive. The Chicken Tikka Bowl was flavorful and hearty, a great option if you’re looking for something filling. Considering the portion sizes and the quality, I felt the pricing was fair. Overall, a spot I’d be happy to return to, especially for those fries!

Texas Rejects To be completely honest, I’m a bit of a fried chicken connoisseur — I know my bird. This was my first time at The Gripper, and we went in blind, not knowing the story or that the “Gripper” is the go-to order. As you’ll see from our pictures, we tried something different, but let me tell you — it did not disappoint. The flavor, the crunch, the whole vibe — 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town, and if this place were local to me, it would easily replace my favorite chicken spot. Highly recommend! To top it off all of this and a 18% tip was only $57 dollars!

Imran Ali Came by with my family and had a great experience. The food was fresh and flavorful — the hummus was the best Ive had. The service was friendly and on point, which made everything even better. After we ate, we tried their hookah, which was smooth. The restaurant has a really laid-back vibe. Overall, just a solid spot all around. Would definitely go back.

Charlie Watkins Great atmosphere and great service. Food was OK, my enchilada was a little dry, the chalupa and tamale were good. The prickly pear margaritas were tasty but a little pricey for the size you get.
