Steve-Os Pizza and Pub - (Near Mt Vernon, TX)

5 /5 Erica Keel: This is the best pizza in NE Texas - they load it up with toppings and it’s delicious! Their wings are amazing too! And you have to get the cheese bread. The ranch and marinara are delicious. We go often and always have good service and it’s consistently great! And bonus points for all the military decor.

4 /5 Foody4 Life: For an app. Today I tried the fried ravioli. They have a nice hint of spices, and a very nice texture. When you add the ranch dressing to it, it gives them a nice tang that finishes out great.  I ordered the calzone with sausage, pepperoni, and onion. This is something I always stick with, and I like to get marinara on the side. My wife had a chef salad adding breaded chicken, and my sister had a pizza. I think this is a good value meal for what you are able to get. The service here is always friendly and fairly quick on most days. I would have loved to try a one of the many flavors of cold beer they have but it was lunch break,  so no can do today. Steve Os in the evening has a much more up beat feel and doesnt disappoint with the food. Update 3/1/2022 Theres a great pizza place in town. I ordered my favorite "calzone" and my wife had the chicken sandwich with a few add ONS to make it hers. They have no issues with off menu orders here and that is nice. The calzone has a nice flavorful flakey crust, with loads of seasonings and cheese inside. I order mine with sausage, pepperoni and onion. My wife gets her chicken sandwich with tomato, lettuce  no onions, peppers or mushrooms and subs mayo for the vinaigrette. We looked through the drink menu and found they make a Miami Vice, so she ordered one and I had the sweet tea. I will say it was made even better than the ones we had in Cancun.

4 /5 Rusty: Not a terrible place, but wont be driving out of my way to go back as I did. Service was okay , not great. Several dirty tables were vacant and we had to be seated in between two tables where we had very minimal room to move around until the previous two couples left . Ordered the Supreme and it was a good flavor , but oh my goodness at the olive and onion overload on this pizza, it was excessively salty, and I love olives and onions , but it was too much. May be back one day to try something else,probably not gonna be the supreme.

4 /5 MysterEats: This was a fun quaint experience. We walked in and barely anyone was there. 15 minutes later there were 2 parties of 20 in a VERY cramped space. I am a bigger guy, and they sat us at one of those tall rickety bar tables and chairs, needless to say i barely moved. Our waitress, who did not disclose her name, was very very busy so our service was slow. We got their before the parties but the parties definitely got first priority on food. We started off with the cheesy bread and marinara appetizer, fresh and delicious! My wife ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with fries, I had a hankering for a lamb GYRO, and was excited to see if it was any good. I also got fries. Food was hot and delicious it just took us 30 minutes to get it. We also got a small pizza, since it was a pizza place, and it was underwelming. A very solid bar and very clean!

2 /5 Caitlyn Froneberger: Pizza was good, but the service was TERRIBLE. I’ve never been to a restaurant that I felt like they wanted us to just leave. We walked in at 6:20 and there were multiple tables open, so they weren’t that busy. We asked the check to be split three ways, and it took 30 minutes, and the check was still not split. My husband just walked up and paid the whole ticket and the waitress said no one would help her. My brother got his food 20 minutes after we got our food. Took 20 minutes for refills, and we had to ask multiple times for our drinks. I have NEVER had more terrible service. We came back in 2016 and it was amazing. I was so disappointed that we drove over an hour to come back for terrible service.
