Vic Helton We had breakfast, everything was delicious. The homemade biscuits were a little different but still tasty. They had a sweet taste to them. Service was fast, & the atmosphere is country.

Brian Adkins Good burger place off the main strip. Nice family operation. Food was really good. I had a burger and fries. I really like the natural cut fries. My wife really liked her loaded baked potato and enjoyed the refreshing cherry limeade.

Fluker Brent Really dont matter what you get, ITS ALL GOOD. I MEAN FROM THE SERVICE, TO THE GOOD, EVEN THE PRICES!!!! They have really good specials and those crispy, on the outside fluffy on the inside pillow potatoe French fries are awesomeness in itself. Yall come on it n getcha some, cmon.

Cora Van Winkle The food was too good that I didn’t get any photos. The salt and pepper on the table weren’t and didn’t need to be touched. I am only ever traveling through Waco for medical stuff so the joy of well cooked veggies in particular was appreciated. I just wish my mom was with me because she would’ve liked it even more than me.

JESSE Travels I just got off a soul-crushing night shift, the kind that makes you question your life choices, and all I wanted was a hot, greasy, soul-reviving breakfast. I pull out my phone, hit “breakfast near me,” and—oh boy—this town is a wasteland before sunrise. Barely any options. And the so-called Mexican restaurants? They don’t even open until 11 AM. ELEVEN. Are you serious? If your doors aren’t open before the roosters start their shift, then I don’t know what kind of operation you’re running, but it sure ain’t a Mexican restaurant. But then I find Jesse’s Burritos. Tiny spot. Looks like the kind of place that’s been holding Borger, TX together with tortillas and strong coffee since the dawn of time. Mural on the wall, wooden tables, and that classic mom-and-pop warmth that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into someone’s kitchen. Menu’s tight—just a handful of breakfast and lunch items, no unnecessary fluff. I respect that. I go for the combination breakfast plate. My buddy, a man of vision, builds his own burrito like hes assembling a sacred artifact. Now, the wait? Longer than I’d like. Not unbearable, but definitely noticeable. Turns out every construction worker within a 20-mile radius was in on the secret and had already called in their orders. These guys were shuffling in and out like a burrito-fueled army while we sat there, watching the world turn. There’s this older gentleman making the rounds, checking on folks, making sure the machine is running smooth. Gotta be Jesse. If it’s not, then this guy just took customer service way too personally. He’s got that old-school, “I actually give a damn” vibe—smiling, talking to everyone, making sure things are running like a well-oiled tortilla press. Finally, the food lands. Eggs? Solid. Decent portion, cooked well. The potatoes? Good, but needed salt and pepper. Beans? Skimpier than I’d like. The tortillas? Thin but huge. Not the fat, fluffy ones I grew up with, but good enough to get the job done. My buddy? He’s over there in some kind of burrito-induced nirvana. Guy looked like he just met God. The waitstaff? Attentive. The vibe? Authentic. And most importantly—they were OPEN. I was this close to giving them four stars for the wait and the small menu, but dammit, they were open before sunrise like a real Mexican joint should be. That alone earns the full five. Jesse’s Burritos—you get it.

Rick HARDCORE PERFORMANCE KARTS I stopped by to grab a little breakfast this morning, it was actually my second visit. LOVED IT!!!!! Amazing professional staff and AWESOME food. Only thing I can say is that I will certainly be stopping every time I have to go to Houston. Stay away if your on a diet because this great food will fill you up & stick to your ribs. I had to walk right past the pie case because if I wouldnt have Id STILL BE THERE!!!!
