ClaireBear We visit Gatesville twice a year for 50 years now. Finally, they have a good Mexican restaurant and this is it! Weve been in the restaurant business over 40 years, so take it from us when we say, the food is great, the prices are right, and the service is excellent. We will be back! ;-)

Misty Haffner We love coming here for dinks, shots and food! Plus u get to watch sports games playing on the TVs, they have daily specials w food, games to play u can win money on and its a great atmosphere. Service is always great. We usually love to get the brisket burger but we went w the HUGE beef fajitas burrito. U can choice a few different kinda meats if u dont want beef fajitas. It has beans, ground meat, cheese sides and all kinda great stuff inside it. U can share it w a few people. Me and my husband got it and could NOT finish even half of it. It was very good and has a great flavor of all kinda goodness! Everything we have tried has been amazing.... chicken sandwiches are very juicy and tender, cooked perfectly! Just a great place to go and unwind.

Mr. F my partner and i drive a lot, and the wear and tear on a vehicle can sometimes go unnoticed. i appreciate that this business does not require me to turn my engine off to come inside. often, i have the urge to drive my car right through the sliding doors of a walmart, and load the vehicle as i would a grocery cart. it would save me time and would keep my legs fresh. if walmart opened a drive-thru version of their store, i can guarantee people would go there. i wouldnt. i dont actually go to walmarts, so when i said earlier that i think about driving through the sliding doors of walmart, i should have said a different business. it cheapens the whole read if i say a place that i wouldnt go to. consider changing the example from walmart to something like whole foods or a high-end grocer. thats more my thing. so, yes, go here! your cars starter will appreciate the rest.

Jason Singleterry What a great place for breakfast/brunch! High quality food, great selection of choices and the atmosphere is beyond what Brownwood deserves. Coffee was excellent (and Im hard to please on quality of coffee.) The owners are great people and the staff is genuine. Go eat there and enjoy!

Joie Robinson “Welcome in!” We were greeted as soon as our not-so-small party of 10 enters the tavern. Come to find out it was the owner that made us feel so welcome right from the start. The staff immediately backed her up and helped our party find seating, get us drinks, and take our orders. I highly recommend stopping in and staying awhile, you won’t regret it. They have lounging areas for ‘happy hour’, tables for dining, and a good ole fashioned bar with seating for those that wish. Michelle gave us a tasty little shot, easy enough for anyone to try, it’s called a “beer shot”, DELISH! Give it a try and enjoy!
