5 /5 Jones December: The overall experience was nice. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The gentleman that brought our appetizers to the table just sat them down and walked away. Although we said thank you, we were not acknowledged by him. The overall meals were great. One minor issue was that the loaded fries were kinda soggy, but still edible. Despite the two minor things...I suggest a visit to this spot. Please be sure to try the mac and cheese, wings, and waffles. Oh yeah and be sure to order a strawberry lemonade. We will definitely be going back!

5 /5 Tanesha Houser: I wanted to share what an absolutely amazing experience we had at Taste Bar + Kitchen. The overall atmosphere is great, but the hospitality we received during our visit was truly exceptional—one of the best I have encountered. Our waitress, Akila, was top-tier. She was extremely helpful when we couldnt decide what to order, and we were truly grateful for her excellent service throughout the afternoon. Everything we tasted was great, and we will definitely be coming back again soon. If someone is looking for a place that offers top hospitality, a clean environment, great music, and exceptional food and service, this restaurant is a must-visit. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience.

5 /5 Robert Green: From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere set the tone—spacious, stylish, and full of energy without feeling overcrowded. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a laid-back meal as it does for a night out. I ordered the Taste of Soul, and it was outstanding. Every component was cooked with care and flavor-forward intention—the kind of comfort food that feels both indulgent and well-executed. Rich, satisfying, and unapologetically soulful. You can tell this kitchen takes pride in what hits the plate. Between the excellent food, the inviting space, and the overall vibe, this spot easily earns a return visit. Taste Bar and Kitchen is doing it right, and I’ll definitely be back.

4 /5 A. TM: We made reservations which seems to be recommended. There were a few people waiting on a Monday night. This is a soul food restaurant. The seasoning of my dinner was exceptional. I got the shrimp and grits with a side of creamed corn. The grits were a tad spicy, but paired well with the corn. My husband said the creamed corn was the best he has ever tasted. He had an excellent fried catfish. Cons- my grits were lukewarm. Service was not great. We sat at the top of the restaurant and it took us 45 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. After dinner we waited an additional 45 minutes for the to go dessert and check.

4 /5 Jaydom9293: Today our server Jeffery offered hands down the best customer service you could ever want. He was very informative of the menu. He also had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. We ordered the Cajun chicken with waffles and the waffles had a crispy exterior and a soft inside served with warm maple syrup. The Cajun chicken was excellent crispy juicy chicken. Not overly seasoned just the right amount for me as a person who cant have much salt. Perfect crunch and juicy succulent meat. The ambience was very nice cant wait to visit again and try other menu items. This was my first time here and there will definitely be more visits to come.
