Jorge Alfredo Vargas Our waitress was great. The place was completely empty when we got there. I figured everyone is at Good Day Cafe. What we ordered was delicious and within a great price range. Something I did not like was the 3 buck upcharge for chicken friend chicken breakfast if you prefer chicken over the chicken fried steak breakfast. At Good Day, both options are priced the same . After our meal, I realized why it was empty. They do not do senior citizen or military discounts or discounts of any kind :/ People will go where they feel appreciated. Not that the service did not exude that. The establishment can do that by honoring those discounts. Its not always about the discount, its about the principle.

Mi Rancho Mexican Restaurant - Groesbeck

Terry Addington Let me start by saying I judge a Mexican restaurant by one of three things. The first being how well do they do enchiladas Verde. And, unfortunately this is where these folks didnt quite make the mark. I should have known better when I saw that they actually didnt call it that. Just an enchilada plate with green sauce. Maybe I was wrong to assume that this was Verde. Regardless, it just didnt have that wonderful tangy flavor that I expected. Oh, and the other two things? One of them was how good they are Mole. Hard to tell here because they dont even have it on the menu. And the last one? Cold beer. Nothing goes better with Mexican food than good beer. And even though their maps listing it shows a beer selection, they dont have it. Minor issue, I know, but with the other two, just not good. The food was okay, but it wasnt anything special. I will say that I really like the salsa, but I have to put out there that that was pretty much the only thing that was more than meh. Im fairly new to the area, so Im still trying out all the restaurants. For now though I think Ill stick with other places to get my Mexican fix.

Sonic Drive-In - Coleman

Thomas Duquette Although Im over 60 years old I have never eaten at a Sonic until now. I had the Super Sonic breakfast burrito and it was excellent. Its a decent size with a hearty serving of scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, peppers and onions. I also had tots and a soft drink and thought it was a tasty meal for a fair price. I would definitely eat this again and thoroughly enjoy it.

V Great place to eat. I had ordered the lrg CFS and didnt realize it had two large chicken fried steaks with a large bowl of mashed potatoes. The price was great for the amount of food. And it tastes pretty good. Also had the blooming onion that was pretty good as well.

Megan Harkins Love this local coffee shop! I only ever go here or their drive thru - support these awesome locals. Their coffee is delicious and their breakfast sandwiches and mini pigs in a blanket are faves!
