Jodie Theriault The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We tried take out one night on a whim, loved it so much that we had the parrilladas made for our Christmas party. Came back for a birthday a few days later. The owners told us about where the meat is sourced from an excellent farm in Mexico with the highest standards. The food is amazing, the restaurant is clean and fun, and the owners/workers are the friendliest, kindest people. HIGHLY recommend

Lina DLC In the heart of Denton, TX, we discovered Osteria Il Muro—an intimate restaurant with only 28–30 seats. We were warmly welcomed, and the wait time was under 10 minutes. Taylor, our server, greeted us and explained the restaurant’s concept and how the menu flows harmoniously, emphasizing that every dish is crafted entirely from scratch. Menu: Our selection began with the rosemary focaccia and house-made butter. We followed with six oysters—the balance of blood orange and garlic offered an interesting and refreshing combination. We would have enjoyed a touch more heat to complement the flavors. Main Courses: The Oxtail Genovese featured perfectly al dente pasta and incredibly tender meat. A well-balanced dish. The star of the evening was the special: a short rib cooked sous vide for 24 hours. The red wine reduction and mushroom purée created a flawless pairing. Both dishes were served in shareable portions, inviting us to compare flavors and encouraging lively conversation at the table. Dolce: We chose the gelato flight with three flavors—limoncello biscotti, sauvignon blanc, and chocolate peppermint. Overall, Osteria il Muro offers an intimate experience in a lively and refreshing atmosphere. Service is top-tier from the moment you arrive. Culinary-wise, it’s a place that deserves recognition as one of the best for its innovative concept. We will definitely return to enjoy more of their creations. Although keeping an eye on the reservation system (Tock) is necessary, the visit is worth every penny.

Yolanda Sloss Delicious food! I am always on the hunt for good beef milanesa and I have finally found a place. Also ordered the chicken enchiladas and tamarindo drink and both were excellent!!! Will definitely try this food trailer again!

Ethan What a cool and unique place. If you are a hunter you will love this place, there are animal mounts all over the walls. The food was all good. The pork chop had really good flavor and was cooked to perfection but was a little over seasoned. Same for the mixed vegetables. The boudin egg rolls were my favorite, they had an amazing flavor. The fried zucchini was also good and would recommend. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and had a decent flavor. The shrimp were also good and probably our favorite compared to the ribeye and pork chop.

Destiny Reinsch Heard the burgers were good so Friday oct 10 that evening we ordered, and let me tell ya that was the best burger I’ve had in this area, was delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the jalapeño bun if you like a little spice.

Rob Kern Food: No bueno! Someone took a page out of the “How to ruin a restaurant “ manual. The food had zero flavor, ramen was slightly flavored and the only way to fix it was to add some salt. Hibachi was bland and felt as if I upset someone from the kitchen so they punished me by serving me life altering food. Atmosphere: decent, seemed like a teenager selected some of the decor. Lights were a little bright. Thought behind the style was nice, makes it look clean but the ninja turtles decorated this place. Service: staff were kind and friendly. I gave a three since the staff became ghostly at a particular time and my family were all out of drinks. Overall Thoughts: Get a manager that will inspect plates before leaving and direct the staff to give the customers attention. This place can be some much more if they have a little effort to fixing what’s currently wrong. I am hoping the restaurant reads this and does it take this too offense. This is purely constructive criticism. Come on Big Spring let’s do better! This town has so much potential!
