2 /5 Bruce Malone: Ordered fried chicken sandwich with fries and fried jalapeños. Sandwich was inedible due to the chicken sliding out of the breading as soon as I touched it and the honey mustard was like water and would not stop running off sandwich. The fried jalapeños we burnt and hard to eat as well. Only good part of the meal was the fries. They also changed the service to waiting on yourself for drinks. Much different since our last visit. Will not be coming back for a while.

5 /5 Vernon Clint “DevilDog”: Great burgers! My wife and I have been pretty much carnivore for a few months now, and I am always looking for great protein options. The Bull Pen has it on the menu. You can always get a burger without a bun, but they have taken the logical step of creating a menu item with options. I had the Carnivore with a 2nd 1/2lb patty, bacon, a fried egg, and added grilled onions and jalapeños because I love the flavor of them on burgers. It was a wonderful meal and experience. Great staff, and both the owner and the chef came by my table to check on my satisfaction. Thank you, Morgan and staff, for a pleasant and quite filling experience.

5 /5 MysterEats: Newer place on the MT. Vernon Square we went at 11am, it was cute, clean, and rustic! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was well seasoned and tasty. My sweet potato fries were a little overcooked, but sweet potato fries are very forgiving, and they still tasted good. Definitely recommend breakfast and lunch! The head cook said they are working on a dinner menu to expand to dinner, also.
