5 /5 Nghiem Duong: Being a fan of Duro Hospitality, I had to round out their list of restaurants by checking off The Chumley House for my birthday. Amazing, amazing. From the moment we stepped in to finish, everything was wonderful, and our server, Sara, was so kind and attentive.
On to the good stuff - The applewood pork belly was a savory hit, with balances of sweet, salty and spicy. We were given a cute little amuse of the regal potato with crème fraiche and caviar, and the potato was crunchy and soft. I admired this bite for a little bit, and thought this needs to be on the menu. Next, was the tenderloin stroganoff…y’all the ricotta dumplings were melt in your mouth goodness. Then out came the star of the show, the beef Wellington and let me just say, you’ve been beat, Mister Charles. With each bite you got a perfectly cooked soft tenderloin with a delightfully crunchy pastry. What more do you need in life? It was wonderful.
If you’re looking for fantastic food and thoughtful service, The Chumley House needs to be your next destination. You’ve knocked it out of the ballpark (yet again) with this one, Duro.
