The Finn - (Near Houston, TX)

5 /5 Luis Rauda: You have to check out the “HIFI AT THE Finn” spot which is located on the second floor. Vinyl records on play, great drinks menu, atmosphere is awesome, it’s a whole experience on its own. Also, the Finn Hall itself is a great stop for food!

5 /5 Heather Vitko the Realtor: This evening, in a search for some good food, I happened upon Proper - a burger spot, inside of The Finn. Sam was at the counter and I had a lot of questions, he had a lot of patience and answered each one in great detail. Sam is also the cook, you could tell by the way he described each hamburger that he really loves the food that he’s putting out. When I wasn’t sure if I’d like one of the ingredients, he made a suggestion that I try a little sample to make sure I’d like it before he prepared my hamburger for me. I really appreciate that Sam went above and beyond for me. JP also helped me while I was there, JP was very kind and nice. The service was exceptional and the taste of the food at Proper was incredible! I was blown away by their burgers and fries. To say it was merely mouth watering would be an understatement. I saw a sign that said Proper was selected and recognized in the top 23 burgers in Houston; Proper must be number one, there is no other ranking that would be fair. This is probably the best hamburger I’ve ever had in my life. I’m already sad that I go home tomorrow and can’t have another right away. I will plan another visit to Houston just to go back to Proper, eat their delicious food and see Sam and JP again.

5 /5 DoButter Xoxo: Great music. Great food. Variety of drinks! I can’t wait to come back to try other foods but the spot we tried was soooo good. We got the birria ramen, Phili eggrolls and dumplings. Gawd. Best dumplings I’ve had in Houston bc a lot of places don’t make them crispy and these were perfection. The birria ramen was like no other and had its own flavor that was so yummy. I’d deff come back but gotta try the other spots. Overall 10/10. The beer was a tad pricey for my liking but it be like that at places like this. The bartender was nice too.

2 /5 Peter Song: The wait here is so ridiculous. 40 minutes for avocado toast and smoothies. It was 10 AM on Saturday with only one other order in front of us. Definitely not the place if youre in a rush. I feel it could be significantly improved through better organization.
