5 /5 James D: Just an update since my prior review was a couple of years ago. I have been back on many occasions & tried several other menu items. Every time, and I mean every single time, the food has been outstanding! Most recently, had the fish sandwich, bacon Cheeseburger & fried okra. I am fairly picky on fried fish & there are only a couple of places that knock it out of the park. This is one of those places. Flaky white flesh, clean flavor, cooked to perfection with a perfect crust. Burger was fantastic as was the fried okra. If you havent checked this place out, you are missing out!

This is the real deal folks. If you are looking for fast & fancy, go elsewhere, but if you want some great food, here it is! Would have taken pictures of the food, but once it touched my lips, I didnt stop till it was gone. Stuffed burgers are exceptional, wing baskets are a healthy portion. BBQ Ribs were just the right combination of taste & tender, served with beans & potato salad. My personal favorite, if I were forced to choose, may have been the fried ribs. Long story short, just go!
