The Moonlight Cafe - (Near Edinburg, TX)

Eric Gates Looking forward to Jerk Chicken. I have made myself but never had before at a restaurant. I was very happy. Also had macaroni pie, Caribbean Cole slaw, mango BBQ chicken wings and coconut shrimp with coconut jerk sauce. All was good. They served the mango BBQ wings and my first though was I will need another napkin. Boom, Lauren brought extra napkins. It is like she has done this before. Lauren was very polite and attentive.

Rob Ok let me start off by saying THIS SPOT IS A HIDDEN GEM. Came from Louisiana to the DMV (long story and irrelevant to the review) but we decided to stop here. 1- they have breakfast hours and lunch hours so lunch is at 11:30 but the owner hooked it up and let me order lunch. ALREADY WINNING. We really wanted the tacos! 2- So let me tell you THESE TACOS ARE LOADED. We ordered the steak tacos and the barbacoa tacos and OH MY GOD…. THEY WERE DELICIOUS! Not going to lie I’m not opposed to driving back here for more tacos. Ft Johnson area has weak tacos even though we have like 5 Mexican restaurants out of the 7 total restaurants in leesville. Also their sauce is home made and both salva verde and salsa roja have quite the kick BUT THE FLAVORSSSS. So all in all… I’m here to say… if you are in the area SEND IT. Their tacos will not disappoint!

Josh I grew up in a small town and was looking for a local small town atmosphere with good ole fashioned BBQ. Dannys didnt disappoint. Good food, home-town feel. Ill be back -Josh McQueen

Nickster The “Im your Huckleberry” I went here because the place across the street that said they were pet friendly I wont say the name but it starts with golden said they closed your patio that day which I was sitting in when I talked to them and my dog couldnt eat there. Smokey Joes across the street though green chili cheese steak and onion rings for excellent the waitress was very friendly not only was she friendly she brought my dog a bowl of water really good atmosphere I enjoyed. So I am Glad Golden light Cafe was rude and obnoxious.

Sabrina Lester This is my new birthday go to. Ive been here twice in the last 5 months and every time its been fantastic. The service is amazing, both times the waiter and waitress were very attentive, kind, pleasing, and very communicative. When I asked for their opinion, they gave it honestly. You are given a small cup of warm broth w shredded carrots, scallions and mushrooms that is just wonderful, pleasing and comforting on a cold evening. If you ask for more theres no hesitation. The sushi is freash every time and the apple sake is dangerously good, very smooth. If youve never tried it, get the apple in a big bottle, you wont be disappointed. Unless if dry, burning, terrible flavor is what you like, then you wont like this. So far of all the sushi Ive tried, the Tiger roll, Spider roll, Katana roll, Poland roll, and the Viva Las Vegas roll are my favorites. I have not tried the Hibachi grill dinners yet but plan too. The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant.

Steven Pfeifer The food here is absolutely incredible!! Everything made fresh with the highest attention to detail. Our waitress couldn’t have been better. My wife has a particular intolerance for spice. The waitress and kitchen were more than accommodating for her needs. This place truly is next level with the food and service. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I will definitely be back when I am back in Galveston again.
