Royers Round Top Café - Round Top

Susan Goss We took a Girls Trip to Round Top for the Fall Show. We were lucky to be able to grab reservations at Royers. The food was great. The service was honest, helpful, and hilarious. We had Chicken Piccata, Shrimp & Grits, and Juds Great Steak. Everything was delicious - the best food of our entire trip! We had Buttermilk, Apple, and Pecan pie too. All were tasty. The buttermilk is not everyones favorite, but for someone who loves buttermilk pie (ME!), this one was awesome!

El gordo This is my favorite place to eat in town, I have never had a bad experience here and they are always friendly. One thing for sure you will NOT leave hungry. Today I had chilaquiles and they did not disappoint, If you havent tried this place, youre missing out.

Gabriel Lyndon Salinas If you’re looking for an incredible meal with service to match, you have to check this place out! The food was absolutely phenomenal—the wings were perfectly cooked and tasted great, and the hamburger was outstanding. Beyond the food, the best part of the entire experience was the warm hospitality and lightning-fast service. I was blown away when my food was brought out just 10 minutes after I placed my order!

Jay S The food is excellent! We had the meatball and it was so huge that we couldn’t finish it. It. Was. Delicious. I’m salivating just thinking about it. We also ordered wings. Really good, too.

Rudys "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q - Allen

Rating: 4.4 /5
Brian Edwards I recently visited Rudy’s in Allen, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of oak-smoked meat through the air had me hooked. • Meat & Flavor — The brisket was perfectly smoked: tender, juicy, with just the right amount of char. I also tried their sausage and ribs, and each bite had a deep, smoky flavor that felt genuine—not over-smoked, not bland. • Sides & Extras — The potato salad, creamed corn, and beans were excellent complements—well seasoned, fresh, and not overly heavy. • Service & Atmosphere — The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The ordering process was smooth, and they handled high volume well. The rustic, casual barbecue joint vibe was perfect—no pretension, just good food. • Value — For what you get, the prices are very reasonable. You pay for quality and portion, and they deliver. • Overall — This place belongs in my top BBQ rotation in the Dallas area. If you’re craving real Texas barbecue that doesn’t disappoint, Rudy’s Allen is a must-visit.

Ebey Soman The staff was very friendly. The lunch Buffett had plenty of choices including chicken, goat and vegetable curries. The chicken 65 biriyani wasn’t too spicy. Their chicken 555 is delicious! Naan with goat or Chettinad chicken curry was great! They have Indian beers and wines to drink as well. Reasonably priced.
