4 /5 DNP: We visited Port of Peri Peri in Sugar Land for the first time and really enjoyed it! The Paneer Strips and Veg Burger were both excellent in taste, and the Peri Fries were super delicious. The hummus and pita were alright. The Quinoa Salad with extra spicy sauce is a must-try at least once – full of flavor and a nice kick! The wraps also had great taste. The setup is self-service after they bring the food to your table, which worked out just fine. Overall, a great experience and we’re definitely coming back to try more dishes!

3 /5 Gokay Alpak: We came to Port’s Peri Peri for dinner and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The wings were okay and the burger was fine, but the chicken tenders we ordered for my daughter were extremely dry and practically inedible. I brought the dish to the manager’s attention, but he was neither friendly nor willing to discuss the issue. The lack of customer service made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, not the experience we expected, and we left quite dissatisfied.

5 /5 Mariya Ak: Had an amazing experience here! Huge shoutout to the big guy at the counter. He was so warm and welcoming. The dishes are absolutely delicious! They offer both hand-slaughtered and machine-slaughtered chicken, so make sure to mention if you want zabihah while ordering. He even helped my dad climb the step and open the door, truly a gentleman. I love their sauces too! Definitely a must-visit for anyone who enjoys great food and a cozy atmosphere.

5 /5 Jose Gonzalez: The Port of Peri Peri has become one of my go-to spots for great food, especially if you love spice. The restaurant itself is clean, and while the décor isn’t anything over the top, it fits the vibe of the area. They even have their story displayed on the wall, which is a nice touch, and the restrooms are surprisingly interesting. Parking is actually pretty good, which is always a big plus. But the real reason to come here is the food. My wife first introduced me after going with my son, and since then I’ve taken a few different people—and everyone enjoyed it. The chicken is cooked perfectly with big, clean cuts of meat, not a lot of extra fat, and it almost reminds me of early Chick-fil-A days when the portions were generous. The flavors are excellent, and the variety of sauces really takes everything to another level. If you’re a spicy food lover, this place will not disappoint. The space is comfortable for small to medium groups—probably not ideal for a huge gathering, but definitely works for family or friends. Service has always been good, food has always been solid, and overall it’s consistently a great experience. I’ll definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

The host and server were both friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome right away. The menu was simple and easy to understand, with a few seasonal items that caught our attention. We ordered the original platter, which included grilled chicken, fries, and rice a great deal for about $60 for plenty of food. Our meal arrived in about 20 minutes, and everything was delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and coated with flavorful Cajun seasoning. The Peri fries were crisp and full of spice, pairing perfectly with the extra garlic white hummus sauce, which added a rich, creamy flavor. For dessert, we enjoyed the caramel cheesecake topped with pecans and salted caramel, which was the perfect sweet and cheesy finish for our meal The restaurant’s cleanliness and wall decor with creative visuals created a warm, welcoming atmosphere and environment for all. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed our dinner experience at The Port of Peri Peri, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious, family friendly dining experience that is affordable.
