The Rusty Spur Steakhouse & Saloon - (Near Vernon, TX)

Martha Underwoods is great! Its an old school cafeteria style restaurant, where you pick your entree and then go down the line and load up your tray with all the fixings. They have a ton of sides to choose from, plus fresh rolls, desserts, and drinks, all of which are included in the price of your meal. You can even get a half portion of entree if you have a smaller appetite. You can go back for as many sides or desserts as you want. The peach cobbler is my favorite! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. While you are eating, servers come around to your table with hot rolls, and whipped cream to put on your desserts. Its the ultimate comfort food experience.

David Franklin Steaks/shrimp were delicious and cooked-to-order!! Excellent fried onion appetizer and complimentary rolls. I was hesitant to show up 45 mins before closing... NEVER A PROBLEM! This locale wants your business and delivers top-rate service no matter the hour. I noticed the waiter/waitresses SANITIZED every booth/table & chair... Excellent atmosphere!

Star Longoria Just had the best seafood boil at Krab Kings on the Lake. We live 2 hours away and will drive back just for the great food and incredible service. We had the half and half with house butter and fried shrimp on the side. We had the most wonderful server/cook/day maker. We didn’t catch her name but she is the nicest person on the planet. We will definitely be back.

Lys Marie Great atmosphere, especially for the Halloween season. Our sever Christi, was outstanding. Helped me decide on a great beer (Amber vs Red) and definitely went the extra mile. I loved the little eyes on a beverage displayed, and joked I wanted them for my beer! She set me up. Super great food too. Fast become my fav place in Corpus!

Caren Queen The food is amazing here everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive we were there about 2 pm so it was a bit empty but that was ok with us i definitely recommend trying this place the food was a 10 out of 10 I will be coming back here again!

DemonKnight Always consistently great food. This was my first time having the Salad bar. While compactl its pretty well stocked. Very comparable to larger salad bars . Lots of paintings on the wall. Just a Narrow little corner Restaurant in the old part of town. Nice out door seating. Chicken Fried Steaks are always Tender N hearty. Mashed potatoes and fried okra are great. They used to have catfish (it might be the all you can eat, I didnt ask last time i was in. Prices may seem high on the menu but trust me its worth every penny. If their super busy service may fall off a little and trust me they do get busy. Its not bad service theyre just swamped. I will always go here when budget and circumstances allow.
