Trails Inn Restaurant - (Near Gainesville, TX)

5 /5 P M: First time here. Price reasonable. Had the open face roast beef. It was good. The way it tasted in my earlier days. Hard to find this. Ordered a peice of apple pie. Very good and big in size. Others with me said they enjoyed their meals as well. Ill come back.

5 /5 LaJune Fritts: We had a wonderful meal at Trails Inn. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and my husband had the biscuits and gravy with sunny-side-up eggs. Everything was seasoned perfectly, cooked just right, and absolutely tasty. The portions were spot-on—my husband left a happy plate, and mine was so plentiful I even had leftovers, which included scrambled eggs and hash browns. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Great food, hearty portions, and classic comfort flavors done right. We highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Gainesville!

5 /5 Tucker Russell (Russell Tucker PGA): 1. Hometown atmosphere, country restaurant very clean. 2. Amazing, greeted us within 30 seconds even though they were busy. Got us seated and settled within 5 minutes. 3. Great variety on the menu. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot right out of the kitchen. 4. wait staff were great "shout out to Debbie". Found out a little history. The restaurant was founded almost 40 years ago. If you are going through Gainesville, Tx this is a must stop for breakfast or lunch!

4 /5 B: Good food, good service, nothing fancy, just doing breakfast/lunch right. Not the best chicken fried steak Ive had, better than other, so good. By the vehicles outside, almost full parking lot, a popular place in gainesville. Need to put either a Mens sign or Women sign on the restrooms and shave the bottom of one door for easier shutting

5 /5 Terri Spalsbury: Good food, good service, good company! We dined in on a Sunday morning around 9:30 and the place was already bustling! We were thankfully able to be seated almost right away and between the party of 5, I believe we tried almost every component of the breakfast menu. Nothing disappointed! From the crispy but not burned bacon, to the pancakes, skillet, and even a hamburger one had for breakfast everything was cooked to perfection and cant out of the kitchen quick! Our glasses were never empty and checkout was a breeze with the server taking the card at the table on a mobile processor. Well definitely plan to return when were in the area... Or maybe on a Sunday drive ☺️
