Uncle Juans Mexican Restaurant - (Near Linden, TX)

5 /5 Nickol Walker: Judge them from their refried beans! They are fresh, seasoned, and plentiful. Everything that we ordered was AMAZING. This is the most flavorful Mexican food that I have so far tried in Texas. I had to stop mid meal and take pics because this place deserves all five stars and more. I will be making trips here much more often.

5 /5 Deronda Baughman: I was in town visiting relatives and we met at this local place on the square. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was! My chile relleno was fabulous, stuffed with lots of juicy chicken and melty cheese. My boyfriend had the steak quesadilla and said the steak was tender and seasoned perfectly with melty cheese. My mother had chicken enchiladas that she enjoyed. The guac and pico were fresh and good. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive. The only drawback is the restaurant itself, with its high ceiling that made conversation very difficult to hear and a sparse decor. The food was the star, though, and I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

4 /5 Mrs. Lovett: For a small town in East Texas, this authentic place, the food was pretty good. The waitress was very attentive and went out of her way to make sure we got what we asked. Food was fresh and hot when it arrived to our table. Honestly the best part was the chips and queso and the guacamole was amazing too. The best chips and queso Ive had in a while. I had a chimichanga and it was amazing. The dough was fried to perfection and if was flaky as you ate it. The rice wasnt very good but the veggies I had on the side were amazing. My bf had some enchiladas and were pretty good but as I said before, the rice could use a but more seasoning and be fresh. For a small town with hardly any food spots, this place was worth coming to.
