Cafe Marizon - Amarillo
Mary Meaux Stopped in Amarillo for lunch. Yall....this food was sooooo good! One of my favorite things is trying local restaurants when we travel.
This place has been in business for 28 years. Laura was our waitress and was lovely. We enjoyed talking with Scott and he was kind and gave us an order form for pies and bread. Homemade yeast rolls that were beyond delicious. I had the chicken fried steak (no, I didnt finish it) and my husband had the breaded pork chops (he finished the pork chops but not the mashed potatoes). Also...those potatoes and gravy from scratch. Taters, precious!!
Looking for excuses to drive this way again.
