Velvet Lounge - (Near Fredericksburg, TX)

5 /5 Phillip Pryor: For a fun time on a Friday or Saturday night the Velvet Lounge is a great place. The staff here is awesome and most can sing very well. The best is just listening and watching people do karaoke. Advice here is get there early to get a seat or reserve or a table. It gets packed.

1 /5 Yasser Marcos: The velvet lounge karaoke place has one of the worst, full of attitude, poser bouncers ever. The guy talks back a lot even when you ask a simple question, even the line had only 4 people before getting in. He thinks he works at Hakkasan or even Omnia, when in reality is just this place. We decided to move to the bar area and we received such an amazing service from the people there! couple of drinks, a pizza, and a good conversation. Well definitely go back to the bar area, but we will never ever try the karaoke area, at least not in the foreseeable future.

1 /5 A Bayard: We visited Velvet Lounge for a bachelor/bachelorette celebration and were excited for a fun night out. We did get to sing once, and that wasn’t even the issue — we were just there to enjoy ourselves. But once staff realized we weren’t locals, the attitude toward us changed fast. They even told our bride-to-be — who is the sweetest person and was just happily celebrating — that she was “too drunk” and needed to leave. She wasn’t stumbling, rude, or out of control at all. She was simply having a good time like everyone else in a bar. I came here a couple years ago and had the best experience, but this time we were treated like we didn’t belong. If you’re visiting Fredericksburg, there are much more welcoming places to celebrate.

5 /5 Alba Galba TV: Our server, Rachel was absolutely amazing. She’s very sweet, kind and respectful! She even let us try out a new pasta, which was very delicious!! Rachel complimented my singing, even though it was not the best LOL! But hey, that’s what karaoke is for. Come on down to velvet lounge it is worth your time.
