momo I had a busy work trip and finally had the opportunity to sneak away for dinner on my own. I decided to head to Eunice as I had a major hankering for creole food. It was deciding between fish or shrimp. I appreciated that the menu was short and simple. Its always an indicator the meals will always be consistently delicious as there arent too many components on the menu. Cody was my server and his service was impeccable. We chatted for a long time and he provided several recommendations, while also displaying a high level of knowledge of the menu. He is as patient and allowed me to take my time ordering during the course of the visit. I narrowed my order down to the cornbread and the Shrimp and Grits. While the shrimp and grits were advertised as hot, it leaned more on the subtle side. There were slight kicks with each bite, but nothing too extreme. The portions of large shrimps and diced sausages were generous portions. The dark vibrant colored gravy was appealing. I would definitely order this entree again. This was a great experience and I look forward to returning again.

Kathleen We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The hamachi crudo was fresh and flavorful, and the carne asada was a standout. Service was warm and friendly, making for an overall great experience.

Jonathan Murphy Visiting Josephine House to start the new year has become a tradition of ours. Generally speaking, I like it. The staff are usually great and the space is nice. I think the portion sizes might be on the smaller side given the cost of each dish. Their bakery items are great but will run out. It’s a popular place but the location doesn’t support easy parking near by so plan to have a walk over to the restaurant.

Amber Mofford had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Tera. From the very beginning, he was attentive, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to adjust recommendations to our palate while still staying true to what the kitchen offers, which made every dish even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how kind and family-oriented he was with us. He made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed, and his warmth truly elevated our entire dining experience. Tera went above and beyond in every way—thoughtful, personable, and professional. He is the kind of server that makes you want to come back. Truly outstanding service.

cn4455 Good location downtown around other things to do. Uniquely decorated with local art that speaks to the city. A good choice for a nice meal with a calm ambience! Great service! Attentive and friendly staff. Even better food! There are plenty of fresh seafood options that stand out over places that just have fried food. A good variety of seafood too. Delicious flavors! The drinks were made well. They were tasty and had a good amount of alcohol. Would highly recommend! We plan on coming back every time we are in town.

Robin Andrews A 10/10 meal. Definitely one of the best dinners I’ve had not just in Texas, but the entire US. Everything was delicious, but a special shoutout goes to the Gulf Redfish, which was a singularly tasty and well-constructed plate of food. Phenomenal. Make the time to come here if you’re in Houston; you won’t be disappointed.
