5 /5 Yanira Gonzalez: Weso has been one of the best restaurants we’ve tried here in El Paso! From the start, the service was great and the hostesses were very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, the bone marrow was incredible, especially with the handmade tortillas to enjoy it with. The empanadas de huitlacoche were another highlight. You don’t often find that dish in El Paso, and it was so flavorful. The new pasta dish, “Palmita,” had a wonderfully natural cheese flavor, and the porterhouse steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, perfectly paired with the brussels sprouts.
The only downside was that we were hoping for a bit more privacy, as the dining room felt a little too open, and the margarita unfortunately tasted like water. Aside from that, it was an excellent visit overall.
