From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely authentic. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and everything from the décor to the presentation screams quality. But the real stars of the experience are the chefs. Sushi Master Audi is in a league of his own. Every roll is crafted with precision, balance, and creativity. The fish is unbelievably fresh, the cuts are perfect, and the flavors are clean and bold. You can tell he takes pride in every plate that leaves his station. If you’re a sushi lover, Audi will absolutely ruin every other sushi spot for you within a 3 hour radius—in the best way . On the hibachi side, Ive heard Chef Wong brings pure entertainment and skill to the table. His timing, techniques, and showmanship keep you smiling the whole time, and the food itself is phenomenal—tender steak, perfectly seared shrimp, vegetables cooked just right, and fried rice that hits every note. He’s fast, funny, and really knows how to create a great hibachi experience.

Ben Taghehchian We had dinner at Gino’s Italian Restaurant in Round Rock to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We tried a variety of dishes—pizza, meat lasagna, spaghetti allagino, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo—and every single one tasted like authentic, homemade Italian comfort food. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. But what truly made the night special was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm—always checking in with a smile. It felt like dining with family. Gino’s has definitely earned a spot on our go-to list for Italian food in the area!

Simon Voight 5 Stars El Olivio in Sherman, TX is hands-down one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area! Weve eaten here several times, and every visit is better than the last. The carnitas tortas were absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned and loaded with flavor. My daughter had the beef and bean nachos, and the homemade tortilla chips were honestly the best weve ever had! If youre looking for authentic Mexican food in Sherman, this is the spot. Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend El Olivio to anyone wanting a true taste of Mexico right here in North Texas!

Kimberly Bowens I came in a few minutes before opening for Sunday brunch, not realizing they opened at 11. Instead of turning me away, the team warmly welcomed me in! I was seated on the patio (which is covered — and thank goodness, because it started raining while I ate but I stayed perfectly dry and cozy!). My server Julia was amazing — she took my order right away and customized my meal without hesitation. I had the Ultimate Eggs with fried eggs instead of poached, and added a mimosa with peach schnapps — SO good! I also asked for something sweet on the side and Julia brought me syrup and a fig preserve that took it to the next level. Manager Roosevelt came by twice to check in, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The customer service here is top notch — everyone smiled and treated me like a valued guest. This was such a peaceful solo brunch, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back. Great food, great vibes, and clearly, great people. Highly recommend!

richard miller Hillside saved my bacon. I decided (very late) to cater our holiday party. I called and spoke to Basil. He treated me like I was the only customer. Helped me decide dishes to include dietary needs and restrictions. We zeroed in on lemon chicken, whipped potatoes, salmon, and sirloin steak among other dishes. Yes, deviled eggs. Day of, Rodrigo shows up early and looking sharp! He sets up in no time and kept the food area spotless the entire night. I think he doesn’t know how not to smile. Complete professionals from start to finish. Highly recommend on the food alone. The great service was the cherry on top. Will absolutely use them to cater again and look forward to visiting in person.

Dustin Cates I was in search of a locally owned, tasty place to eat with good service. I was led to Mia’s. Although they had removed the veal section from their menu, I was pleasantly surprised that Veal Marsala was the daily special. The service I received from Chelci was great, and the food was delicious. I will be back when in town. Good portion size at a great value.
