Yankees Tavern & Grill - (Near Anderson, TX)

DM The Community Grill is a great place with awesome food and excellent service. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Huge shoutout to Kris, our server, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Also want to shoutout Shelley, who was our server the other day—she was just as fantastic. The staff here truly makes the experience special. Highly recommend stopping by!

Addison P Totally recommend they’re so friendly and the bus boys are fast at changing a dirty table clean. I’m assuming what were the managers or owners were always looking at every single table to make sure everything was amazing. They even were handing out hand creams for Mother’s Day, and my daughter dropped mine, which they were kind to replace for another. Definitely bringing my entire family next time. They drinks were so refreshing, just needing the nice breeze of the water.

April Thomas My family of 4 went on a Saturday for lunch. The hostess greeted us right away and was very nice. It wasnt too busy and we were seated right away. You get rolls and butter when you are seated. They do have appetizers on the menu as well. Lots of home-cooked foods like a Cracker Barrel. The waitress said that everything is homemade. Everything had lots of flavor and the sweet tea was just right.

Cesar Molina Stopped for brunch at George’s Restaurant in Post. Their menu is a ménage à trois of American comfort, Greek and Mexican delights. We had the sizzling fajitas breakfast that included tender sizzling steak fajitas with sweet caramelized onions and green peppers garnished with two beautiful sunny side up eggs, refried Mexican beans, and crispy hash browns with choice of either corn or flour tortillas. My friend had the tasty Gyros platter that included gyro meat, fresh pita bread, and all the fixings ( the tzatziki sauce was amazing). Also, the service from our server Julie was efficient and prompt. The atmosphere was family oriented and welcoming. It was a busy period with lots of guests coming by from church. The final great touch was complimentary ice cream! I highly recommend!!!

Ryan Shilpin Went in for a late lunch. We were greeted by super friendly staff and hostess. Our server Angie was the best. And the food was amazing. Will have to come in on a weekend evening when it’s busy.

Brian Conley What an amazing Ribeye that they serve. The place was clean and the service was amazing. Very happy to have a great steak at a mom and pop place. Everyone was very friendly and happy I was there.
