Marv Mitchell You never go wrong at Texas Roadhouse! There is a reason why the place is always packed! We went for my Mom n laws birthday. Mateo was our server and he was solid. Drinks never went dry and food showed up ready and hot! Love this place!

Monica Delgadillo Miranda We sat upstairs, had a great waitress! We ordered the los lonely and the other burger with mushrooms and we loved it. We shared a side of parm fries and yum! We did order the house margaritas both- on the rocks and frozen and we did not like the at all. The waitress was amazing and changed our drinks. I would definitely recommend this place! The TV upstairs is kind of small so not the best place to watch a game but it’s doable.

Lina DLC In the heart of Denton, TX, we discovered Osteria Il Muro—an intimate restaurant with only 28–30 seats. We were warmly welcomed, and the wait time was under 10 minutes. Taylor, our server, greeted us and explained the restaurant’s concept and how the menu flows harmoniously, emphasizing that every dish is crafted entirely from scratch. Menu: Our selection began with the rosemary focaccia and house-made butter. We followed with six oysters—the balance of blood orange and garlic offered an interesting and refreshing combination. We would have enjoyed a touch more heat to complement the flavors. Main Courses: The Oxtail Genovese featured perfectly al dente pasta and incredibly tender meat. A well-balanced dish. The star of the evening was the special: a short rib cooked sous vide for 24 hours. The red wine reduction and mushroom purée created a flawless pairing. Both dishes were served in shareable portions, inviting us to compare flavors and encouraging lively conversation at the table. Dolce: We chose the gelato flight with three flavors—limoncello biscotti, sauvignon blanc, and chocolate peppermint. Overall, Osteria il Muro offers an intimate experience in a lively and refreshing atmosphere. Service is top-tier from the moment you arrive. Culinary-wise, it’s a place that deserves recognition as one of the best for its innovative concept. We will definitely return to enjoy more of their creations. Although keeping an eye on the reservation system (Tock) is necessary, the visit is worth every penny.

Lidia Lomas THE BEST local food truck around! Their Steak Sandwich is def in my top 5 of ALL STEAK sandwiches EVER and their desserts are always superb! There has not been a miss when trying something new on their menu- Delicious every time! They have some pretty cool Halloween theme dinners as well during spooky season! I already cannot wait for the next one! ALL my friends know they are coming lol

The Undeniable Vixen If you’re in Denton and want to snag some beers to go, please check out The Bearded Monk. Ben and his team of Beertenders enjoy and sell beer. You can find some of the latest beers as well as some nostalgic beers you don’t always see in the big box stores. The space seems small on the outside you would expect an antique quaint shop. Then you go in and see an impressive tap wall of crushable beer, rows of beers to purchase, and a cold case. The Bearded Monk has a quirky and lovable attitude and vibe that you want to stay all day. By 5 p.m., scrolling and enjoying my beer, I think I should have been gone a long time ago. SMH. It was so peaceful sitting at a table. If I had my book I would have been in complete bliss! You can bring food from the nearby food Truck or that amazing Mexican restaurant around the corner. I don’t get to Denton that often but when I do; The Bearded Monk is on the list.

Ron Butler First time trying this place out. Chicken and shrimp gumbo in sourdough bowl was killer! Im already planning when to have it again. Bang bang shrimp were perfect. Jambalaya with rice I give a 7 out of 10. Little to tomato based for me. Still cleared my plate. You have to try this place!

Mason Carr The UFO burgers and so crispy and tasty! I love the pressed bun and the burger options are so good. I’ve had the Cowboy Brisket and the Mushroom Swiss, both are INCREDIBLE. The owner Ashkan is THE MAN and the beers at DCBC pair great with the food. Check it out soon!!

Preston Donahue Me and my fiance just wanted cheese fries, we went to cool beans first, their prices were absolutely ridiculous, so i suggested we go to loophole cause i liked their cheese fries in the past and they were fairly priced, but unfortunately the food just wasn’t good at all. Idk if they stopped making house ranch and started buying bottled ranch but it’s just as bad as hidden valley if not actually hidden valley, there was like only 7 pieces of bacon in the fries, the cheese sauce was almost definitely ricos nacho cheese sauce. Not bad but like. Come on… and the worst part was there was several raw fries. If you’re going to drown fries in the cheapest nacho cheese sauce at least make sure the fries are fried. It’s just sad. I feel like ever since denton became this “tourist town” quality has just gone down everywhere and prices have gone way up and service is sub par. Why even go out? I could have gotten a bag of frozen fries, friend them in oil, bought ricos cheese, actually make palatable ranch and a fair amount of bacon crumbles and had a much better experience with more food for the same price. I worked in food service for several years and was head chef at a few places and if I was serving these fries i just wouldnt feel proud. The atmosphere is great. The service has always been good and I’ve always liked the food here. But i dont think I’ll be back.

Jeremy T. Eating at Saltgrass was a good experience. The food was delicious and our server was wonderful. The top sirloin was good and the fried shrimp was great, but the Riley was ESPECIALLY delicious. The potato soup made a great appetizer and I really liked the complimentary bread. My wife has a gluten allergy (celiac) so we were a little worried considering there wasnt a dedicated gluten free menu, but we just mentioned the concern to the server and my wife had no problems. I gave 1 less star on atmosphere because the mens bathroom had a bunch of cowgirl pin-up all around the mens bathroom and thats just trashy.

Shawn Massey I had a great experience at LongHorn Steakhouse! I ordered the ribeye steak with a baked potato and mac and cheese, and everything was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor, and the sides were hot and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Overall, excellent food and great service — I’ll definitely be back!
