We had two pizzas, the unique South African Summer Pizza which has a banana flavor; and the Pollo Loco pizza which has a Chipotle flavor and pairs with the Cabernet Franc. We sat outside on the patio; the view was nice and the weather was cool for October, 72°. Tastings are only covered if you join the Wine Club, no discount for buying bottles on-site.

Sarah Johns Its an awesome place to grab a bite to eat! We had a spectacular dining experience at Fat Boy Burgers when we visited Johnson City. We cannot wait to go back! They offer indoor or outdoor seating and the drink station is self-serve. Hubby and I both ordered the Blue Ultra Classic burger with onion rings. This exceptional burger burst with flavor and was cooked perfectly. The blue cheese crumbles, bacon, grilled onions, and mayo are a delicious melody of flavors that have you wanting more with each bite of your juicy burger. The scrumptious onion rings have a nice crunch with a perfectly cooked onion inside and they just have a great flavor. The menu has many options, and they also offer homemade desserts. We did not have a long wait for our order, and the welcoming staff offered exceptional customer service, making us feel right at home. Also, I loved the decor, and this unique establishment is not a typical chain restaurant. The vibe of a small town restaurant filled with friendly people is hard to beat. Their prices are great as well. I highly recommend a visit to Fat Boy Burgers. Trust me, you dont want to pass this one up!

Marsha Russell This place is worth the drive from Austin! Everything about it — its location on the town square, its Texas-pub style interior, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, the creative menu, the food, and the beer — made it the perfect place to meet for a late lunch. The place was hopping midday on a Tuesday, so clearly it’s a favorite of the locals and surely draws people driving through. My calorie-counting friend ordered a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, and I got the FABULOUS Pecan Sweet Chicken, a fried chicken breast topped with honey pecan sauce. It was unforgettable. The dessert menu had several options that looked awesome, and had I ordered any, I’d have followed the pecan theme with the Brewer Chocolate Cake. Next time!

Ruiz Jo (Jojo) The food was delicious. Service was good. A bit on the expensive side but it could be because I ordered the chicken fried pork chops but still worth it. They were moist and the gravy was so good. Some of the best gravy I ever had.

S B We ordered some breakfast burritos to go and they were amazing! They were stuffed full. Their green salsa is simply the best around. I could buy bottles of that. The flavors are so fresh you can tell everything is from scratch. We have tried other locations for breakfast in the area for tacos/ burritos and this is by far the best. Come support this great place!
