Rische Beeson The fried seafood platter is terrific. Everything on it always cooked perfectly. I really like the fried oysters that are never overcooked (like happens all the time in other restaurants). I plan trips to eat at Texas Cajun in Lamesa. Worth planning your trip to eat there and the food & service is just as good at 3 in the afternoon as it is at the normal hours. My wife gives the grilled seafood platter 5 stars.

But what truly elevates Mitch’s is its great food along with its staff. Anna and the crew radiate warmth, greeting me by name and memorizing my order. We stopped just after lunch rush and it was still fairly busy but were helped right away, our sandwiches made as we asked, even checked to see if it was enough veggies and dressing for our tastes. Chris McEwan On 10/03/25 my wife and I ordered for take out so I never made it inside for atmosphere. We ordered the Lemon pepper chicken wings bone in and they were wonderful, hot, fresh. We also ordered a three meat plate. Brisket was tender, moist, hot and seasoned to perfection. The ribs great. The sausage was smoked and unbelievably good. If you are within walking distance or if you had to drive from Lubbock I highly recommend this place . For our first time visiting it was awsome.
