4 /5 Dyanne Gray: The good: First off, if you’re going to book a room at the hotel book the Staycation package. It had some excellent benefits for just a few dollars more. Included Dinning certificates ($50 each) gambling money ($50 each) and then signing up for the players club we got $10 more gambling money. Then it was my birthday months so they gave me $30 dinning and $10 gambling.
The room was nice and spacious with a very good bathroom and comfortable bed. We had a nice (free) dinner at the Loggers pub and a free night of slots. We aren’t really gamblers, but when you get free gambling money you use it. And I won $168 so basically we came out a head. Not bad for road trip stay. I also really enjoyed all the Dia De Los Muertos decorations they had all around the casino and reception.
Now the reason I took off 1 star: The smoking is very heavy here and the scent they use to cover it up goes all the way up to the hotel rooms. The first night it gave me a huge headache. Also, one of the reasons we also picked the hotel was for the pool area. But it was closed for repairs the first day and when it opened the 2nd day there was a huge group of very loud and unruly children using it. I don’t know if they were from a group or what but they were very rude when we poked our head in to see when we noticed it had reopened. Who brings their kids to a casino anyway, especially a smoked filled one. But over all we had a nice stay and enjoyed our exportation of the Okanogan area.
