5 /5 Carl H: Hit this place for the first time this week. First off, excellent service. We sat at the bar, and both the head bartender, Tori, and everyone else we interacted with, including the manager, were great.
Started with the mussels, which have a coconut and squash broth. Mussels themselves were smaller, which is good, as that avoids chewiness. Overall very good, but 4* from us because it tended a bit too sweet. They included some nice grilled bread for dipping.
Then split the bar steak and Belgian frites. Both were absolutely excellent, with the steak a perfect medium. They kindly split the plates ahead of time without us asking, and I swear gave us each a full order of fries.
We started with their seasonal old fashioned, which was spot on. Tasty and not too sweet or too dry. After that, happy hour red for me, bubbles for my wife. Well priced at happy hour, but beware during the week, as it is literally 1 hr, but all day on weeekends.
