Noriko Carnes Exquisite dining experience a must done here when in the Des Moines area of Seattle. The sun was setting and made for an amazing time! Food and service is outstanding! I had a stater salmon plate with a salad. Clam chowder was better than Monterey! I ended the evening with the sorbet with huckleberry. Wow!!

Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen - Walla Walla

Rating: 4.4 /5
Earl Gooding Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen is one of our favorite restaurants. My wife and I dine here frequently, and I can genuinely say we have enjoyed every single meal. The quality and flavors are consistently superb, as well as the great cocktails. Our experience last night was no exception. The service was wonderful; our server was perfectly attentive without being intrusive. The food was divine, as always. We started with the Buñuelos des Pescado (halibut fritters), which were incredible. For my entree, the Méchoui Chicken was perfectly prepared, with a taste that was delightfully and authentically Mediterranean. I highly recommend Saffron for authentic, high-quality Mediterranean food matched with excellent service. We already look forward to our next visit!

Rushad Idk what others are complaining about. This place is on point with its food. The collar was one of the most unique takes on fish Ive ever had. Amazing smoky flavor with large chunks of fish. The oyster selection was incredible albeit pricey at 5 a pop but definitely worth it to try. Only disappointing thing was the goat cheese which was super dry and brittle near the rind.

Andrea F The drinks were very good. Everyone around us was enjoying the experience as well. The host was a bit weird about us being seated at the bar on our own, without them moving drinks away first. Then another person was asking for a drink and they told him they couldnt serve him at the bar unless he was sitting??? The drinks and dessert are good. The chocolate cake was impossibly rich, but delicious. The whole menu looks fabulous but we only got drinks & sweets. The one bartender got into a big whiskey discussion with someone who wandered in, and stopped working entirely. It was DEFINITELY interesting for people watching, for sure! Overall, good experience, but staff were distracted.

Celine Marie My son and I walked in last minute before going to airport for early flight next morning. The restaurant was such a pleasant surprise with spectacular view of full moon coming up just to left of spectacular bridge in distance. Highly recommend the specials and excellent house wine. Our waitress was very helpful and offered us to seat wherever we wished. We loved sitting near fireplace and view of the river. We even had to try dessert even though we were pretty satisfied with wonderful dinner the dessert topped it off perfectly!
