5 /5 Nick Villanacci: Recently moved here for work from down south, and the happiness this home style gumbou brought me was immeasurable. Finding a place like this up here was a great unexpected surprise. Service was friendly, the Gumbou was hot and delicious. Perfect level of spice and flavor. Every time I come back through here for work I’ll be stopping in.

5 /5 Chris Williams: Excellent food in a great little spot. Very homey. The gumbo and cat fish are exceptional. Also a lot of amazing seasonings that you won’t find anywhere else. New Orleans based place and is growing everyday. Prices are fair and it’s a bit of a wait but it’s worth every bite. Devouring their gumbo as we speak.

5 /5 Walt Kimbrough: The oxtail gumbo was one of the best gumbos Ive had. The roux was good, the oxtail was great. The boudin was nice, too. They have all kinds of legit Cajun cooking spices and mixes, along with sausages and meats. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Michael Simpkins: First and foremost, customer service is down right friendly and inviting. From the moment you step in, its a feeling of walking into your friends or familys place for dinner. We ordered the chicken & fries, catfish & hushpuppies, oyster po boy, strawberry & lemon cake (Kjs Bakery) and pecan pie (from Louisiana). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and agreed that Althas was a hit, a no-kidding add to our revisit list. I intended to only eat half the catfish & hushpuppies, but once I got halfway in, couldnt stop, that good. Dont know what hot sauce is used, but it was perfect with the catfish, not spicy but enhancing. The wife said every bite of the oyster po boy was flavorful and oyster plentiful. While waiting on our order, we sampled the crawfish etouffee, "OMG", it was delicious, a must get, next visit. The owner stated theyre opening a location in Puyallup soon, awesome, keep expanding. Alright, Ill close with this, an all-around positive experience, worthy of the 5-⭐ rating. Now go experience and enjoy!
