Dori Helenius We randomly stopped at this place and we were not disappointed!! The butter chicken pizza was super flavorful. The crust is great! And our son got the butter chicken burger and fries. Fries are crispy and the butter chicken sauce was super good. Next time we’ll ask for no onion, but other than that, it was a really nice surprise to find such great food. And the guy walked our order out to our car for us! Really nice gentleman.

Blake Nelson Incredible experience overall. When I arrived, no host, no staff, no signage—just vibes. I briefly questioned whether I was committing a crime, but it turns out Cody’s Grill operates on a bold honor system model. Very progressive. Seating is open-concept and fluid. I sat where I felt spiritually called. The décor says “guy who owns a grill” and nothing more, which I respect. The self-serve element is truly next level. I grilled my own food, grabbed my own drink, and at one point considered Venmoing myself. Empowering. The chef never appeared, which added a mysterious, Michelin-adjacent energy. You can feel Cody watching from somewhere inside the house, trusting you to flip at the right time. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys great food, minimal supervision, and the faint thrill of trespassing. Five stars. Would accidentally host again.

Allison Isakson My hubby and I decided to check this bar out after reading about it in the newspaper. We went on a sunny, Summer Wednesday and they were busy! Its a cute, little, indoor spot with a Southern feel inside, located right off commercial Ave. The service was amazing, they were always on top of it. There was a wide variety of cocktails to choose from. I tried several, and all were made to perfection-- tasty and strong, made from quality spirits, fresh ingredients, that pop with flavor, paired with unique garnishes and glassware, transporting you to New Orleans without the travel. The shrimp and grits was the best Ive had since I lived in the South. Shrimp not overcooked, perfect flavor balance and portion size. Surprisingly good in general but especially for our cute little Anacortes town. Only downside I could see for some, is that this bar and restaurant is for ages 21 and up only. That also means it can be a little on the loud side. Not a problem to me because they played great, fitting music and maintained a very nice atmosphere. As convenient as family restaurants are, its a treat having a place just for "grownups". ♡ Cant wait to return and try more things!

Zachary McPherson New to the area, needed a cold beer after a long day and this place welcomed me, my gf and her daughter. Kid friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend the Flambe and house Pale Ale.
