Billy McHales - Federal Way

Rating: 4.1 /5
Cody Harris My wife and I come over for drinks or food when we want to go out late. Weve tried a variety of dishes and the food is fine. Ive had very good foods and some subpar items but one thing is certain, when they stick to classic bar or pub food like burgers or fried foods (the onion loaf, or calamari) they hit the mark and we leave satisfied. I always prefer a restaurant be recognized for its core items than one item I may not have enjoyed. The highlights to me of Billy McHales is the drink/beer selection, the staff and the atmosphere. I love the pool tables and small arcade selection inside. Theyve also got a good selection of brews on tap from light, dark and amber. The staff are friendly and check in often on how you are doing especially at the bar. If youre looking for a good drink, I day stop in and check it out.

Long Beach Cafe Restaurant in Lakewood - Lakewood

Kelly Goodliffe The food is always fresh and good. The chicken wings are the best! Service is a little slow but not bad. Feels like you’re dining at your auntie’s house. One of my favorite spots in Lakewood.

Do Si Korean BBQ - Kent

Rating: 4.4 /5
Mike (Big Mike) Short review - Absolutely amazing place, food, and service. All you can eat KBBQ!! Long review -Im shocked by the less than Five (heck Ill give you four stars)... This has been a great addition to the Kent Hill restaurants. We have been needing something like this on the East Hill and this place is by far amazing. My wife and I have come here at least 8 to 10 times since opening we have always had great service. I have never waited more than 5 minutes if that to do any kind of ordering or to do any kind of drinks. The most wait was a 20-minute wait to be seated because it was on a Friday night and I would expect that or I would hope it would be that busy that I would have to wait- Id like this place to stay. The dishes have been fabulous, the meats are fantastic. Chicken wings are good. The Japchae is phenomenal!! My wife has a gluten and dairy allergy and it was great to speak with the people initially and talk with them about what she can and cant have and they completely understood. So much so the next time that her and I came back the same server (Po) remembered everything because he himself is allergic to dairy. Now from reading the reviews I know who these people are talking about the "Asian guy with the beard". I apologize to you because I forgot your name but I have spoken to you twice. I have been in during slow times and I have been in during really busy times. I truly believe that people think that the rudeness is really just a manager trying to run a business, get people seated as quickly as possible so that his staff can start to serve you food. He has never personally been rude to myself or my wife or any family member I brought in. He is short on what he says sometimes, however to say rudeness is beyond me. No I dont personally know anyone that works there, nor am I being paid to say any of this stuff. Po, the guy above, and all the younger staff have been great! Attentive to changing out your grill, asking about other sides. I actually prefer to order by the "P" numbers instead of saying the names- they absolutely DO NOT force you to order by that what so ever! Yes they offer you ice cream at the end by saying hey theres free ice cream and its just one of those little cups that used to get when you were a kid with the wooden spoon but you get a nice little plastic one now. To say that they bribe you for a good reviews with it (someones review here)... really? Seems a little ridiculous! My only four star was for atmosphere- they do have a bunch of TVs on the wall playing Korean dance and pop music stuff which I find very entertaining. They do have two PA style speakers mounted towards the back of the restaurant and they do seem to have like a party sometimes at night because theres laser lights and stuff on the ceilings. I feel like Im personally missing out on one of these party nights where these laser lights and stuff get turned on and speakers get blasted. I need to figure out how to get on that party list!

Pupuseria Ana - Marysville

Rating: 4.4 /5
Cristina H We ordered pupusas (revueltas and beans with cheese), riguas, yuca con chicharrón, and to drink horchata and agua de coco. The pupusas had a lot of filling, great flavor, and they were huge! The yuca was delicious as well, lots of chicharrón, curtido and everything. The flavors are authentic (I’m from El Salvador), and honestly, Pupuseria Ana has the best pupusas I’ve had in Washington State. The customer service was amazing, both servers were charming and respectful. We loved every single item we ordered, and we will be going back soon!

Owl Sprit Cafe - Port Townsend

Rating: 4.7 /5
Brennan Rebecca (Mrs. Pockets) Absolutely love this adorable little cafe! The food is so delicious and nutritious. I make sure I stop every time I visit Port Townsend. They are one of the safest places to eat if you have any food allergies, even celiac. My only complaint is, when I go here I bring my senior parents and they would love to have the option to get a half sandwich. My mom wants to try the Ruben but can’t eat a whole sandwich and leftovers never hit the same :) Pictured is the Lamb bowl with fresh quick pickled beets that are crave worthy.

Black Angus Steakhouse - Federal Way

Rating: 4.2 /5
Scott Best We visited Black Angus Steakhouse in Federal Way to celebrate the New Year with our grandson Matt and granddaughter Eliza. Even though I had not been here in over 10 years, we were seated right away and quickly greeted by our server, Randy. It immediately felt like coming back to a familiar favorite. The restaurant has a comfortable, classic steakhouse feel. It is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for family dinners. It was moderately busy, but everything ran smoothly. The space felt clean, cozy, and well kept. It still has that dependable neighborhood steakhouse vibe that makes you want to settle in and enjoy your time. Once we ordered, we were brought a warm loaf of bread with butter. It was a simple but appreciated touch that held us over until our meals arrived. Matt ordered the 8 oz filet mignon cooked medium, served with fries and mac and cheese. The filet was tender and perfectly cooked, and the mac and cheese was easily some of the best we have ever had. It was creamy, rich, and incredibly satisfying. I had the 12 oz ribeye cooked medium well, paired with au gratin potatoes and onion rings. The ribeye was juicy and full of flavor, and the au gratin potatoes were rich and creamy with a light cracker style crunch on top that really set them apart. Marianne ordered the 6 oz filet mignon cooked medium well with a loaded baked potato. It was hearty, flavorful, and done just right. Eliza enjoyed the potato skins and mac and cheese. Both were a hit. Portions were generous, everything came out hot and fresh, and the quality was exactly what you hope for from a great steakhouse. Randy did a fantastic job. He was friendly, attentive, and quick with drinks and check ins. The pacing of the meal was perfect and made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. Black Angus in Federal Way delivered a great New Year’s dinner and reminded me why this place has stayed a local favorite for so long. We all had a wonderful meal and a great time together. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it for family dinners, celebrations, or a solid steakhouse night out.
