5 /5 Owen Thompson: Charro or Dos Nombres as I call it with all of the El Sarape signage still visible is a lovely east Olympia family Mexican restaurant. It has fun decor, comfortable booths, friendly, and a great selection of enchiladas

5 /5 Grieg Chapian: Ok, this is THE Mexican restaurant for vegan options!! The owner is (or was) vegan and I dont remember the last time I had multiple (more than 2) vegan and gluten-free protein choices!!! Amazing, and they were done so very well! Food is authentic, flavors are terrific, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are open late and its a family-friendly place. Something for everyone (they have plenty for carnivores). Come often, its a great place. Ill be back.

5 /5 Anne Marie Patterson: This place is our new family favorite. Only went for the first time a few months ago and have been back several times since. First, the service has been outstanding. Prompt, friendly, patient, and willing to work with me on a fairly restrictive way of eating. Stellar service around Oly is a rarity, so I very much appreciate it. The food is fresh, delicious, with generous portions. Again, they went out of their way to accommodate my food preferences and exceeded my expectations. Weve had a variety of dishes, and they have all been well done. My husband commented that the margaritas are good value for the price. Finally, its such a delight to the eyes. I love the trees (especially during the holiday season!), the light fixtures, and the artwork. My son loved the high-backed booths, which were cozy for a small family meal out. My only suggestions would be to turn the lights down a tad, and to put a curtain on the kitchen entrance so the fluorescent lights dont glare into the dining area.

3 /5 Joseph and Frank: We liked the atmosphere of this place. The decor is very nice, especially in the evening when the string lights are turn on. The wait staff are attentive, but not the friendliest. We had the Sante Fe chicken chimichanga and a vegetarian burrito with avocado. The Santa Fe tasted okay, meat was a little dry, and the outside was barely fried, no crispness to the shell, at all. Rice and beans, always good. The chips were cold and old, salsa was good, 2 heat out of 5, so you will feel it. The veggie burrito was okay, a 3 out of 5.
