Frostys Saloon & Grill - (Near Napavine, WA)

2 /5 Jeff McNeill: Went for new years eve dinner. Steak, potato,salad, shrimp. Steak over cooked, never got salad. Ya it was busy, but dude serve food as meant to be!! Bar tenders rocked,girls hustleing thier butts off,5 stars on the girls. 2 for food.

5 /5 coachlunk Rubio: I have heard about this place from a friend who lives in Napavine. Definitely coldest beer in the area. Good draft beer and can choices. Burgers look tasty so do the sandwiches. Had the fish & chips with house made tartar sauce. Try the potato salad it wont disappoint, so good. There is an area for families. Kids are allowed up until 9:00pm. Nice old bar with classic style stools. Pool table is only .50. you can smoke outside. Sometimes they have live music. According to the sign the bar has been open since 1901. The place is inexpensive 4 beers, fish & chips side of potato salad was $23 before tip. Worth the drive wherever you are driving from or to. Frostys coldest beer in the state.

1 /5 Lori Stout: The food was actually decent, and the atmosphere was good. Clientele in the bar was great, people were nice, and easy to chat with. Our server/bartender had a nice personality, and gave good service. I rated with one star because the alcoholic beverages were very short poured. One thing that could be effecting drink quality is that they serve well drinks in traditional water glasses, which unless you ordered a double shot will make the drink weak. We are from out of state, and our friends who live local had warned us that Frostys makes weak drinks, but it was the only place open, so we didnt have a choice. I mentioned to our server that we heard the drinks were weak in hopes of a decent drink, but it may have had the opposite out come! I personally cant handle a strong drink, I often end up asking for juice on the side to add to a drink. The drink i had (greyhound) was easily 90% juice! It was bad. Everything else was great...

3 /5 Kerry Haley: I like this place. Old and ratty. But good food at a good price. And pleasant people providing good service. Went in recently and had the Atkins Special with steak. I have ordered the same meal many times. Sometimes, it comes with a whole steak. Sometimes, it comes with a steak that has been sliced into strips. This time, it came with what can only be described as bits of charcoal. I think it was a couple of ounces of breaded and deep-fried meat. The cook and the waitress both should have been embarrassed to serve it. It was garbage. I complained, and the problem was resolved by providing a properly cooked steak. I appreciate that it was handled this way. I am upset that they argued with me and said the menu says it is breaded and fried, and the cook said that they have been there ten years and have always cooked it this way. Neither of these things is true. Blatant lies, and this irritates me. Changing my review from four stars to three. Unfortunate, because I like this place.
