Shahriar Saadat, PhD I stopped by Wingz & Thingz and had one of the best hot wings I’ve ever tasted! The flavor was amazing and perfectly spicy. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming—he truly cares about his customers and even gave me extra food to try. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

Nam Nguyen Took a trip to Spokane this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find such a great NOLA kitchen there - Vieux Carre NOLA hooked it up! They served brunch til 2pm so didnt get a chance to try the full menu but the bits we did, didnt disappoint! Bacon wrapped shrimp and cheesy grits. This is one of my favorite southern eats, it speaks to my soul. Stone ground grits gives it a creamer texture than instant grits. The cheese was melted nicely and complimented the texture. The bacon wrapped shrimp was cooked well - i would say the sweet in the sauce was ALMOST too sweet but it balanced quickly with the salty of the bacon and the smooth grits. I ate everything including the tails, it was that good. Chicken and Waffles. Who knew this dynamic duo would be such a staple in brunch eats. Chicken thighs fried to a perfect crisp. Just the fact it was thighs should tell you its legit. The waffles could have been a stand alone dish, spicy white cheddar waffles was done right, soft on the inside with a touch of crisp on the outside. These two combined made it the first time I devoured chicken and waffles without syrup. I did dip it in some hot sauce for extra flavor action but it was far from needed. Bread pudding French toast with a bourbon peach topping. Due to sheer gluttony, I struggled to enjoy this dish. The bread pudding was done well - the bourbon peaches were good too but just too much sweet for my taste buds. I would go with the other topping option of banana fosters at my next visit to see if it has a better balance. Perhaps a Chantilly cream would have helped. Ambiance was super cute too. Like a old style Victorian house type feels comfortable seating and very friendly staff. Definitely coming back for the rest of the menu!

John Navarro Shin Sung Korean BBQ is another great affordable Korean BBQ spot. The place is located close to the unfinished Federal Way train station. $29.99 for all you can eat is a steal deal, especially when it includes rice, vegetables, and even soup. The nice lady that was serving us was very nice, she always checked up on us and also kept the food coming. If I wasnt cooking and eating, shed come by and cook and also check if everything was good and if we needed anything else. She made sure that our table was stocked up on all the delicious sides, rice, and meats. If you are in the Federal Way area give Shin Sung a try. This is my second time trying out the location and they have not let me or my friend down.

Daniel Caffarel This is a fantastic place to go for casual hangouts and great pizza. Their system is awesome so you get authentic, Roman-style pizza really fast. Its cash only with tax included in the price, which I really like. The event spaces are amazing and the patio is gorgeous.

Amy X We came around 8:53pm and they were closing at 9pm! Our server Dalton was such a great help and served us with amazing delicious food even though we came so last minute. It was our first time here and he was the best!! Steak was cooked perfect too (thank you chefs for cooking for us so last min!), we love it and will come back for sure!

Sandra Yglesias We are out camping and decided on a pizza night. Stopped at JJs and were impressed with the huge selection on their menu. Everyone wanted something different, so we all ordered a personal pizza and one order of bread sticks. They took our order right away, and it didnt take long until they were ready. All the pizzas were as advertised, heaped with toppings and delicious. They gave us a bunch of extras and napkins. I highly recommend stopping in. Im sure their burgers, grinders, and other offerings are this delicious. They have limited seating.
