Eric Tofte You know sometimes when you are just driving around in a strange city you run into something just great. Well that happen to my wife and myself. We were in Kelso and drove by the Scythe Brewing Company an decided to drop in. Always looking for a good IPA. Not only did they have a great IPA they had one of the best staff members I have ever ran into. I wish I got her name by she was working the afternoon of 10/29/2025 and I have ran into a lot of servers/bartenders and she was the best. I dont walk well and she took the time to make sure I was doing OK. Besides that it they had homemade soup and the beef barley was to die for. Thick and rich and just full of flavor. So impressive my wife took one spoonful and told me it was the best soup ever and I had to agree. The beer was excellent and the place was just comfortable. I dont live in the area and dont know if I will ever be back but if you are ever in the Kelso area it is work the stop. I know that I will try to make it back. Also parking was good and decent to get in and out of. 1/8/26 Went back and still a great place. Food is wonderful. Great service and beer is really good. GREAT PLACE

Baylee Crouse 7/18/25 update i will never complain again. i came here for my birthday meal because it was so amazing last time and they absolutely blew me away with how divine the food and drinks were. i got the rutabaga which was a culinary EXPERIENCE and my fiance got the bavette which was GENUINELY the best steak either of us g have ever eaten. there were no service delays or anything, genuinely had one of the best meals of my life. go here. fr. okay girlies. this was the BEST MEAL i have had in bellingham in a HOT minute. the space is adorable too!!! absolutely in love with the art on the walls. The drinks? immaculate. the salmon montadito? divine. the black cod? delicious. and the ricotta gnocchi? i would give up my hypothetical first born for a lifetime supply of it. the food also came out so fast which was such a pleasant surprise! is it a little pricey? yeah. is it worth the price? absolutely. my one and ONLY complaint is that while the server/host/bartender were all friendly, like VERY friendly, there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of organization. we placed our cocktail order 15-20 minutes before we got them, and while they were delicious, it just seemed a little long (especially because we were seated at the bar). i don’t want to rag on the bartender either because i could tell he was busy! however, i watched 2 other coworkers asked if he needed help and be told no. fair enough, but a 20 minute wait for a drink when the food came out in ten was a little wild. also, the host was the one who came by and took our food order after noticing that the bartender hadn’t taken it yet. which hey, totally fine, but a little weird since we were seated at the bar. last tiny con— i put in an order for a glass of wine while taking the last bites of our entree and it never came. i didn’t want to ask for an update since the cocktails took so long to be made, and we were nearly done with our food with dessert on the way (which by the way, the matcha panacotta is a must try. do yourself a favor.) we weren’t charged for the wine though so we decided to just let it go, no biggie! for one seafood dish, two entrees, two cocktails and dessert it was $150, which for the quality and flavor was absolutely worth it. i’m hoping that next time we come i can change my review to five stars! definitely would recommend checking out this delicious and adorable restaurant.

Rachael Turkington Yummy homemade lemonade with jellies! My son and I love this place. Food was delicious, we tried the masubi and onigiri. Both were so fresh and yummy. Highly recommend!

I mean, you did just treat yourself to some pretty nice high end stores so why not continue the journey and feed your self some high end food. Lasa Street Food is the answer to your question of where. Located kitty corner to the Nike store, dont let its name dissuade you. Their menu might be based on the street food in the Philippines, but have you had the street food in the Philippines?!?! Its just the cheaper version of whats in the five star restaurants and most times much better. Lasa Street Food provides your taste buds with the food fare good enough for a Christmas Dinner Spread. Theyre the one restaurant who took over the once Starbucks kiosk whos lasted as long as they have. Its because theyre that good. As always, youre greeted with the Filipino hospitality & respect. As for the food, although received in to go boxes, the dishes are well presented and in good portions. Choose just two entrees, an appetizer and youve got a complete meal for four. Add one of their dessert drinks and youll be refreshed and sweetly satisfied at the same time. And the flavor of EVERYTHING is delicious! The only thing Id change is their outdoor seating. Its great for when we have good weather, but when we have our Washington weather, its more comfortable to take your order home. Id love for them to have those undercover heaters and maybe a curtain to shield from the wind. But this wont keep us from the yummy food. They have another restaurant in Lynnwood called Lasa Sandwiches. Same great taste, but just delivered in a different ingenious way with a completely different menu. Youve gotta try both because theres just no comparison.

Kay Schlauch We just went there for the first time tonight for my father in laws birthday. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the show the chef put on. All of us from ages 6 to 85 were having a blast. You get a good portion of food and entertainment for the price you pay. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and family from now on.

Elliott duverge All the food hit the spot. Great portions and fast service. The carne asada and chorizo portions are very healthy and full of flavors. The beans melt in your mouth.
