La Cierrita Bar & Restaurant -Food CA (Near Ephrata)

1 /5 Michelle R.: Generally I dont leave reviews, especially bad ones, but after tonight I wont be back. First of all this used to be one of my favorite restaurants and loved the food, drink, and staff. The past few times service and food was not as good. Tonight though was the worst. Drinks were not well made. I ordered a shrimp dish with corn tortillas and got chicken with flour tortillas. I did say something to the waitress who said that they could remake it, but I really didnt want to wait even longer to have it remade. Then when we went to pay we were charged for the plate I ordered which was more than the dish that they incorrectly made. She then said she would discount our meal, but charged full price for everything and essentially overcharged my dish. Absolutely will not be going back.

5 /5 Leslie Sandlin: This was such a nice restaurant . Truly authentic food and the customer service was fabulous. The guys are super nice and professional. The food tastes amazing. Not sure why we waited so long to try this place out. They bring cheese dip and really good salsa with the chips.

2 /5 Carmina Alemar: I really don’t like to make negative posts, typically if we don’t like the food, we just move on…However, I read some of the reviews and people claiming it’s as good as Mexico is insane. I’ve been to Mexico, was raised in California, when I moved to WA 10 years ago, I realized good Mexican food is hard to come by. We were in the area visiting so we stopped in. The shrimp enchiladas was ok, (they did add a lot of shrimp) the salsa was very good but the birria tacos was the worst we’ve ever had. I can only have one bite, he drowned it with salsa and added a jalapeño but still can only eat one. The rice was decent but we couldn’t eat the beans, it had a weird taste. This doesn’t even compare to food in Mexico, I’m sorry. Friendly staff, fast service, no issues with that.
