Madrone Bar + Kitchen - Friday Harbor

Cindy Pealstrom Madrone is a very unassuming cute little spot that we almost passed right by! Thank goodness we didnt! We were greeted by two very lovely ladies and decided to do tastings instead of glasses of wine. She offered to bring them out to the lovely deck and of course we agreed on such a gorgeous day! We sampled 5 wines, each one unique in flavor and body. All were delicious! The deck is stunning having just been rebuilt after a devastating fire 6 weeks prior. Service was great, wines were great and the area was great! Well definitely be back!

Soi 705 - Richland

Kristen Marshel By far one of the best places in town. Brought my folks here, visiting from out of town. We were seated immediately. The place is small but the atmosphere was amazing. Currently decorated for Halloween. Our hostess, server was amazing. Very attentive. She answered any questions we had. We ordered our apps and main course. The presentation was spot on! The flavors amazing. All of us loved our meals. There is a small bar and they have live music sometimes. Highly recommend!

Riverside Cafe - Spokane

Elle Corstian Lee was phenomenal! He made our experience amazing—super friendly, quick with our order, and on top of keeping our waters full (even after someone in our group spilled half a glass on the table and floor!). He was polite, funny, and made the whole meal more enjoyable. The seating is a bit tight—I was with two other adults and a stroller—but they make it work, even during busy hours. Kind of weird there’s no clock on the wall—I caught myself looking for one a couple times. That said, we didn’t wait long at all. From sit-down to check was only 40 minutes. Food was good overall. The club sandwich with truffle fries was the standout—huge and full of flavor on perfectly toasted bread. The burger tasted great but was on the smaller side. Chicken tenders were just okay—pretty bland and sweet. Fries were solid—good texture and very lightly salted. Overall, great service and a solid spot for airport food. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m at Spokane Airport!
