5 /5 LeiLani Graham: We arrived and were greeted warmly. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food we ordered was awesome! If you are a person that doesnt like spicy food be sure to read the full description of the meal. I like spicy food and loved it, my husband isnt as enthusiastic about spicy food but did enjoy his meal. We ordered the wine as suggested in the meal description.

5 /5 Sam Song: Hubbie and I went on a Sunday night for a quick dinner after the holidays. Food was unexpectedly delicious. We had the pork belly- it was seasoned well with a crispy outer crust on a bed of Brussel sprout salad. It was followed by pasta rustica- it perfectly seasoned. The pesto sauce was creamy with a slightly tangy flavor topped with a light bread crumbs and Parmesan balanced by fennel sausage. The pasta itself was homemade and done perfectly. For those find it difficult to avoid nightshades in Italian dishes, it was perfect. We also had the Orchard brassica salad- also wonderful. We highly recommend this place.

2 /5 Janette G: We were looking for new places to eat in Tacoma, but Manuscript will definitely not be one we return to. I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews - especially negative ones - but this experience warranted it. The menu felt misleading, especially regarding the “Classic Breakfast.” Nowhere did it clarify that the dish only includes eggs, one protein choice, and either potatoes or bread. Based on the wording, I expected something more substantial - at least eggs and bacon, plus either sausage or avocado and potatoes or bread. For $15, the meal felt sparse and disappointing. On top of that, the service wasn’t great. The waitress/bartender wasn’t very attentive - we waited quite a while just to have our order taken, and I had to ask for our waters to be refilled because it wasn’t offered. When I brought up my concerns about the misleading menu, she simply said, “Yeah I understand,” without making any effort to address the issue or make things right. Overall, a very underwhelming experience, and not a place I’d recommend.

5 /5 William Plummer: My wife and I had visited Manuscript a time or two for drinks and bites, and on one occasion wandered into the back where there is a unique, roomy, yet cozy event room. We filed it away for the future, until a couple of months ago when planning my wifes mothers 80 birthday party; We booked the room. On the day of the event, we were a bit stressed working on last minute decorations, etc., while all around us the Manuscript team led by Gell quietly, smoothly brought the room to life around us. It was calming. The event was by all accounts a remarkable success. Huge props and thanks to the Manuscript team; Well be back. .

5 /5 James Harris: We had a reservation for a larger party for Brunch and we had a wonderful time! The service was warm and friendly and the food was to die for. I had the Pork Belly Hash and was one of the best dishes I’ve had this year! Would recommend getting a large Lemongrab Baby to split with the table as the lemon paired amazing with the jam. Would definitely come back for brunch!
