Jennie-Lynne Renton Crossed the border from Canada and came here almost immediately because of the great ratings. Beer, atmosphere and food all hit the mark. We got the nachos and the pork carnitas. Both were excellent and very filling. Tried a few of their beers and our favourite was Mother of Exiles IPA. Also really enjoyed the Alebrijes Mexican Lager.

Heidi Jo Lopez Very good, traditional BBQ! They have a big menu, and we have only tried combo #3 (my husband and I shared). It was a big portion, and we were full and satisfied! The brisket was very good, the ribs fall Off the bone and flavorful, and the Kielbasa was exceptional. All three BBQ sauces were very good. Service was very good as well. She was really helpful, friendly, and kind. We will be back! I should have taken a picture of our food, but I forgot. The food drew me in quickly.

Erika Knauf Torres I cannot say enough great things about this place! Great food with low prices. I go every single week. The milkshakes and floats are so good! Seafood for under $20 is such a good deal. It’s nice it’s order to go too, no servers or having to sit down for the food, it’s such a great order and go. I suggest you call ahead of time on your way for the food. They are pretty busy but work so hard to get it out as fast as possible.

Blake Nelson Incredible experience overall. When I arrived, no host, no staff, no signage—just vibes. I briefly questioned whether I was committing a crime, but it turns out Cody’s Grill operates on a bold honor system model. Very progressive. Seating is open-concept and fluid. I sat where I felt spiritually called. The décor says “guy who owns a grill” and nothing more, which I respect. The self-serve element is truly next level. I grilled my own food, grabbed my own drink, and at one point considered Venmoing myself. Empowering. The chef never appeared, which added a mysterious, Michelin-adjacent energy. You can feel Cody watching from somewhere inside the house, trusting you to flip at the right time. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys great food, minimal supervision, and the faint thrill of trespassing. Five stars. Would accidentally host again.
