5 /5 Kristina McClain: March 4th Visit – Found the Best Sundae of My Life!
I hadn’t had breakfast yet, and my stomach was growling. It was cold and rainy, so I thought, Should I go get a warm bowl of soup? And wow—what an experience!
This was my first time trying dwaeji-gukbap (pork soup), and the staff was incredibly kind. They even made a special seasoning mix for me and explained how to properly enjoy the dish. The moment I took my first sip of the rich, steaming broth, the cold outside seemed to disappear. The deep, flavorful taste was simply unforgettable.
I followed their advice—dipping the tender pork into the seasoning, mixing the rice into the soup—and every bite was pure bliss. My husband and I couldn’t stop nodding at each other, as if to say, Yes, this is it!
The kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) was refreshingly crisp, the geotjeori (fresh kimchi) was delicious, but the real star was the sundae (Korean blood sausage). My husband, a true sundae lover, declared it the best he’s ever had, and I couldn’t agree more. Every bite was packed with flavor, making us both speechless with delight.
We almost ordered another plate of assorted sundae to take home, but we knew nothing could beat the taste of freshly made sundae. So instead, we’ve decided—this place is now our go-to spot, and we’ll be back every chance we get!
