2 /5 Calvin Chung: was in the neighborhood and wanted to grab a burger and fish & chips, came with my wife for the first time. walked in and was quickly brought to a table. we were excited to try out the food, and wanted to order the fish and chips and the quad bypass burger.
so we waited.
and waited.
both my wife and i tried to flag down a waitress, but they just smiled at us.. and walked away?
after 20 minutes of sitting and feeling a little helpless, we started looking up other restaurants around. Only then did a waitress come up and start taking our order. Her reasoning was it was right at shift change, and no one was assigned to take our order. That said, the people that came in behind us had already received their food by the time the waitress spoke to us.
It was a disappointing initial experience as it may have influenced our meal as well. the burger felt dry and the fries felt cold. the fish was pretty good, and the milkshake we ordered was great. However, due to poor service we will not be returning as we felt unwelcome.
