Walden - Friday Harbor

Rating: 5 /5
Joshua M My wife and I had dinner here for our first wedding anniversary and it was truly exceptional in every way. For context, my wife is a food snob while I have the pallate refinement of a garbage can. Both of us found the entire evening to be absolutely incredible, 100% worth the money, and will certainly be coming back to celebrate with Walden in the future. All of the staff knew our names, why we were there, and went to great lengths to help us feel celebrated, including flowers, personalized notes, and a customized vegetarian menu for myself. The ambiance was elegant and inviting. Gabriella and her team struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. She was incredibly knowledgeable but also conversational in the most natural, unforced way, making us feel welcome while still giving us our privacy throughout the evening. We also particularly enjoyed getting to see her teach her team and seeing them work together. We highly recommend sitting at the chef’s counter if you get the chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Gh This steakhouse in Ellensburg is a very good place to eat. The staff is kind and willing to make your wishes come true if they can.

Taqueria Costa Sur |Everett - Everett

Leah Tetzlaff New favorite place to grab some quick, fresh, authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately, my taco pics dont truly represent them because Im one of those people who suffer from cilantro soap disorder, and I dont like raw onions. But they typically come with. The rice and beans got tossed in the car, but my son says hey, pre mixed! Also delicious.

Cody’s brisket - West Richland

Rating: 4.8 /5
Blake Nelson Incredible experience overall. When I arrived, no host, no staff, no signage—just vibes. I briefly questioned whether I was committing a crime, but it turns out Cody’s Grill operates on a bold honor system model. Very progressive. Seating is open-concept and fluid. I sat where I felt spiritually called. The décor says “guy who owns a grill” and nothing more, which I respect. The self-serve element is truly next level. I grilled my own food, grabbed my own drink, and at one point considered Venmoing myself. Empowering. The chef never appeared, which added a mysterious, Michelin-adjacent energy. You can feel Cody watching from somewhere inside the house, trusting you to flip at the right time. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys great food, minimal supervision, and the faint thrill of trespassing. Five stars. Would accidentally host again.

The Jar - Cheney

Josselyn Suksdorf I come in almost every Friday (sometimes throughout the week lol.) and I’ve got to say I’ve never been through a better coffee shop experience anywhere else. The baristas have amazing personalities and customer service skills, and in cant even begin on their coffee skills. I have never left feeling upset or unsatisfied, if anything my day has become better by saying hello. ❤️
