5 /5 Yu-Hsien Ho: Stopped in at Porky’s Public House for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a classic, no-frills bar-style restaurant with a lively, upbeat atmosphere. By noon, the place was packed—clearly a local favorite—but the staff kept things moving and never missed a beat. Drinks were constantly refilled, and the service was genuinely friendly throughout.
There’s outdoor seating available, though we sat inside where it was loud, energetic, and full of that good bar buzz. Pricing was very reasonable—perfect for a casual midday meal.
I went with a salad and a plate of wings, and I have to say—the wings were exceptional. Juicy, well-cooked, and generously sauced, which is rare to find these days. Too often, places skimp on the sauce, but not here. I ordered the medium Buffalo and garlic Parmesan—both absolutely delivered. The Buffalo had just the right amount of heat without overwhelming, and the garlic Parm was rich, savory, and well-balanced.
If you’re in the area and want a casual, satisfying meal in a fun setting, Porky’s is a solid choice—especially if you’re a wing fan.
