Husband and I wanted to try a new place before a show at the Podium last night and decided to give Outside a shot and we were BLOWN away! We glanced at the menu beforehand and thought it looked good-reservations were easy to place and we arrived early right as they opened at 355. Seated right away, first ones in ones in the door. Super cute, warm, cool vibe and open kitchen concept was fun to watch. Service was quick, friendly and attentive without hovering. Drink recommendations were spot on and quickly delivered! We ordered the Ribeye Poke for a shared appetizer and it was amazing! The layers of flavor and texture were top notch and the sauce was next level. My husband had the Pork chop with mashed potatoes, and I ordered the Pasta Puttanesca- we kept eating off of each others plates because everything was truly so great. The pork chop was tender, juicy and flavorful. The pasta was full of flavor from olives, tomatoes and you could actually taste the pasta as well!! Great food for a great price point! We will be back to try the pizzas and the meatloaf!!

Alan Spurling You might think to yourself when first looking at the menu "huh, a little pricey" but wait until you see the portion size! Massive panini with top tier ingredients..Absolutely delicious!! Ill be back for sure! (Pictured is the panini I got to go for size reference.)

Matt Perrone Itadaki Yakiniku is a Japanese steakhouse in Bellevue. Its close to the main area, so traffic can be a pain but its relatively easy to get to. Theres a few parking garages close by but no real street parking. Inside, they have probably 4 dozen tables, set in the front and back, as well as a bar in the front. Their menu is pretty big, and prices are a bit high, but portions are decent and the quality of food you get is second to none around here. Wagyu is obviously the easy go to, but their other steak options, and some of their sides, are just amazing. The Cube is a great choice, with a little bit of a few things. Its a nice place to do "family style" with people since its easy to split. The service here is amazing, like next level. The staff is so friendly and funny, and they do a great job helping out or pairing sake or other drinks with your meal. Reservations are highly recommended. Overall this is an amazing spot, for either a date night, casual night, or even group gathering.

jennifer thompson The Oxbow is an amazing small town fine dining establishment with an upscale city atmosphere. Whether it’s a chill Wednesday night burger and beer or it’s a fancy Saturday night special date night with premium aged beef and all the fixins, this is your spot. The bar is totally legit with fantasticly delightful cocktails and badass top shelf bourbon options. Shout out to all the bar staff and bar backs- keep up the great work! Please keep the rotating local beers and whiskey. ( we are not a tequila and cheap draft beer bar- for those of you that are newer) Please bring back our local craft rotating beers and whiskey/ bourbons. The dinner menu is tastefully thoughtful and seasonal with complementary dishes that represent the absolute best of the Northwest. My husband and I have supported Chef Alex and his Exceptional Staff since opening day. What really sets the Oxbow apart from other places is the staff- you know who I’m talking about! Yes you might need reservations at times. Yes you might need to wait. Yes things sell out or are no longer available some evening. This is what a true real-food dining experience is- for those of you that give bad ratings due to that, just move on. And to those of you now curious for exquisite representation and endless efforts toward a spectacular Sumner dining experience, see you there! Heather Brice I have tried every restaurant in town and ordered their Reuben. This Reuben is hands down the best. Tonight I tried two dishes that I hadnt ever tried before. The cauliflower Bang-bang and the Cajun chicken Alfredo. I loved both. I like that this place is conscientious about healthy options and has something for my vegetarian and vegan friends when they visit. They have also added a nice selection of mocktails and Non- Alcoholic wines and beers as well as a full bar and really quality coffee. Worth the price and very friendly people too.
