Soung Son Federal Way was in dire need of a new shabu place and Shabu Zone seems to be the answer. It’s a sister store from the one in Texas and from talking to the servers the owner is from here which makes sense. Thank you! First off it’s super clean and well made and gives you a solid Korean-esque vibe which we loved and appreciated. Food was top notch, and the sauces are so good! The spicy ponzu! Is the move. Service was on point and the ice cream was better than what we expected whenever a restaurant says they got free ice cream. Long story short. Federal way has a ton of places that offer all you can Korean bbq for the similar price of shabu zone. The lunch special pricing is good and if you really for the funds, then dinner will be good too. Try it.

Natalie Butzner Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of character. The food was incredible—everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentically made with so much care. The portions were generous, and every dish was perfectly seasoned. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home without being overbearing. Service was quick, and our drinks and food came out hot and exactly as ordered. This is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to, and I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and a great overall experience!
